Bro, few tribal regions of 3 north east states require local govt permission, though it's very simple. Is called Inner Line permit , so these regions are not exploited and their indigenous culture is protected.

Inner line Permit required for own safety and security in case of emergency help can reach you it's border states and mostly hilly terrain...and rules should be followed...some areas were no plastic zones, no photography zones etc..etc. So you can visit any states tourist destinations in nort east...no permits needed and in some zones it needed.

Iam from Tezpur, Assam but currently in Sibsagar. Sibsagar is very beautiful city like my Tezpur. Yes North-East 7 sisters are gems of natural beauty of India. We keep preserving our nature from ancient times that's why you guys able to watch them now at current Scenario. But still we got lots of on going problems like animal illegal hunting, land illegal acquiring, flood, hatrate between tribes, water wastages, low education on rural areas etc etc. Our North-East lack behind in terms of other states in development. No major mega projects.

No permission needed to visit any part of India for indians. We only need to aquire an ILP that one get online. But strict restrictions are in place for foreigners particularly Pakistanis and Chinese not allowed 😁😁😁

North East is still largely untapped as far as tourism is concerned. However Assam is not covered under Inner Line Permit (ILP). Come and sit on an elephant and watch a rhinoceros. What many people don't know is that there are places there which are similar to Ladakh.

No, actually permit is required for few States of northeast not every. Because these are naturally and diverse. few of tribals are there, so they considered themselves to preserve this. And they are constantly surrounded by international borders as well sply china, Bangladesh. But it is not applicable for Indians. that's it.

There is no such restrictions to visit North Eastern States except Tribal areas in arunachal pradesh, mizoram, nagaland so as not to disturb thier culture & help preserve tribal culture in these states. You can not allow everybody to pack thier bag and hoard into tribal lives there & make a mess.

Know your country before opening your mouth to travel in Arunachal Pradesh you do need an inner line permit.. so you can't really say nothing is required for anywhere... I'm sure you have never travelled in the North East part of India

Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland & Mizoram are restricted areas...These states are very less populated & resourceful areas so government don't allow people to visit there without Permit...North East state are the treasure of India so govt keep it that manner...

It's in indian constitution ie right to preserve and protect the culture and yes the permit required is called Inner line permit system originated from Bengal eastern frontier regulations act of 1873

Apne sahi suna hai Nagaland me kuch aise jagah hai jaha , bahot purane tribal community rahte hai , WO aap par attack kar sakte hai agar aap us jagah ke liye naye hai to kyo ki unhe lagta hai koi uska ghar todne aya hai , aur uska jungle katne aya hai. I was living in Lengpui near Aizawl , Mizoram for 2 years in 1999-2000 . People are very friendly and very modern. In fact much more modern and civilized than north lndian states .

As Indians we need to take Inner Line permit for 4 North eastern states like Arunachal pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland and Manipur. It can be availed easily through online also. During the Start of Covid Inner line permits were not issued to these 4 states (unless urgent). This was a type of lockdown imposed by these states to avoid tourists. My wife is from Arunachal pradesh and have travelled to all parts of North east.

The ILP is required to visit four Northeastern states in India- Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland. To visit North-East India, tourists require ILP (for Indian Nationals & Foreign Nationals) and PAP (Only for Foreign Nationals) permits for a few selected states. However, no permits (ILP and PAP) are required to visit Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura for both Indian Nationals and foreigners

Pakistn independence day message= Pakistn bhi development kar sakta he agar wo kashmir ka pagalpan chod de, Peace kare India ke sath , democracy leaao jo abhi military controlled govt aur china pe dependent kam rahe already u der debt trap. Aur religion pe violence band kare finally, even when ur minority population is 2% (22 lakhs) usse bhi taklif hoti he pakistn ko. Otherwise no ine can save pakistn being a chinese colony soon. ILP permit is required to visit some states of the northeast but why there is no ILP for the states that border Bangladesh that is my only concern. Because of the ILP all the immigrants are based in assam, tripura, and meghalay.
