I have tasted Italian and French cuisine and it's absolutely delicious. Lot of people can eat our food and taste no flavour except a burning mouth. We all are exposed to a certain kind of food and develop different tastes and there is no doubt that in terms of taste and variety, a country like India with hundreds of cuisines where each state has a different flavor is something absolutely unique. You need to taste authentic Italian and French food
Tbh it's shit if you are talking about Indian taste pallets majority of Asian countries eat their version of that food which is kinda give away that western taste pallets doesn't work with eastern ones same goes for them .

There are people from the west why are in love with the Indian cuisine and there are people who detest it and similarly some Indians love pasta, some don't. What is key here, that people have access or are informed about the authentic places where they can get good food. All restaurants in India don't serve the same kind of palak paneer, biryani etc so if a tourist is unlucky, she might never get to taste good food. In this light, when we go to France or Italy, we might not know about those places.
