After these incidents Indian pilots were not allowed to fly below 30000ft. From this height it was not possible to hit their target with the bombs they had. The war happened for almost 3 months. Only after 2 months India received Drones, Laser guided bombs and 'Surveillance and Targetting System/pods' from Israel. This bomb could be dropped from 30000ft with an accuracy of 10 metres or less. That is when Airforce finally could be used effectively. Until then they were mostly relied on Bofor Guns.
