That "Alu wala samosa" is known as "Shingara" in Bangladesh and it tastes better with raw onion and green chili. And the another one which is triangle shaped, we called it "Somucha". In Pakistan and India, it is called "Samosa" but in Bangladesh, we called it "Somucha" and it's mainly made with onion and some other ingredients, not potato.

Pakore is Pakora in Bangladeshi term. Pyaz ke pakore = Piaju, Channe = Chanda Dal / Chola. Fried rice : White one you use known as Muri. There is another version called : Cheera (چیرا). This is actually Poha. But in Bangladesh we say : Cheera We loved it’s fried version

Apparently, those dried white Chawal are called "Murrmuray" in Urdu. Also, that long salty thing you had is called " Nimki khajoor" in Urdu. Mostly in Karachi Urdu speaker does eat these things with chai as snacks.

Thank you for showing us Bangladeshi food! We do eat a lot more spices compared to many of the other countries of the South Asia. Like I myself eat green chili with rice often. Especially with polau, tehari, biryani of sorts. It's never complete without boiled egg and Green chili! Similar story for rice and chili as well. in fact , the poor folks of Bangladesh often rely on green chili, onions and salt with white rice. Its unfortunate that they have to depend on this diet but indeed true.
