I went to Chicago to spend my happy time and thanksgiving with my relatives and to attend my cousins Pakistani wedding!! Desi weddings are always so fun because there is a mehndi, dholki, mayou and so much more! Sorry this vlog was a bit short, I honestly was having way too much fun with everyone and my days were limited so I tried my best to vlog clips here and there but this is a daily vlog or I guess weekly vlog!
Don't forget to subscribe and like this video! And let me know, are you a fan of Pakistani weddings or not?! In my opinion they're one of the best cultural weddings to attend because of the food, music, Pakistani outfits and ceremony!!
My outfit from thanksgiving day was borrowed from my cousin :(
My outfit on Wedding day is from Kanwal Malik! I'm selling it if anyone is interested, DM me!

I loved watching this video! I have to say, I admire how you continue to make videos despite the amount of negative and judgmental comments I see on every single one. I truly don't understand why you get so much hate, but just know that a lot of people appreciate the content that you share with us!

Honestly some of the comments on this video are so rude. With all the videos on RU-vid, if you don't like the way that someone lives their life or if you think it's contradictory then simply click another video. How someone else and their family lives their life is nothing to do with you, and not for you to judge (which is haram, by the way). Let other people live. Why not talk about how the Taliban isn't educating girls and get in a rage about that rather than about someone wearing a shimmery skirt? SMH.

Is not Islam that's contradictive, is some people that follow it taking rules out of their way of life just because of their own convenience. Muslims do not celebrate Thanksgiving.

Ok with all due respect, i don't mean to be rude, but why do you celebrate Thanksgiving??? I'm sort of confused, as inst it not a muslim festival and muslims aren't supposed to celebrate any festivals except their own, except when they're cultural and do not have a significant tie down with a particular religion
@saa3419
@saa3419 2 года назад
Do your research, the whole essence of thanksgiving is to give thanks to God, and to be grateful.. how exactly is that at odds with islam.. ? Please do not make ignorant comments, just because it’s not in your experience, have an open mind.
@justanotherhumanbean5876
@justanotherhumanbean5876 2 года назад
@@saa3419 having an open mind is not meant to divert from your religion. It's not bigoted in any way, because for muslims only two celebrations exist and it is specifically mentioned in hadiths and sources.
@saa3419
@saa3419 2 года назад
@@justanotherhumanbean5876 you said it yourself, it’s cultural and there it is not inconsistent with Islamic beliefs to give thanks to God..
@justanotherhumanbean5876
@justanotherhumanbean5876 2 года назад
@@saa3419 Thanksgiving is not cultural by any means. Islam and hadith and the Qur'an are all one and apply to everyone. Thanksgiving also has many pagan undertones, which are clearly against islamic values. There is no exceptions for culture or country to country- it is why we call it a religion and it's why we have rules and regulations. My problem is not with Thanksgiving as a festival itself, but with a muslim celebrating it because it's not allowed. If everyone's just gonna bend and be liber minded and di what they wanna do, break all rules of the religion then people are going to question and poke- because it's obviously hypocritical. Your religion gives you rules- you say you are muslim, but then you don't follow them??? Then what is the use. If you're just going to pick and choose what you want to follow then why is this religion so important to you. That's just confusing to me. And there was in no way i was even offensive in asking this question - it is my right to question people when they don't follow what they preach. The cultural differences is what is deemed acceptable whitin the religion if I'm not mistaken, fir example the birth of a child. Many cultures celebrate this diffrently, but whitn their islamic guidelines
@saa3419
@saa3419 2 года назад
Again it seems that you are missing the point, Muslims are thankful to God and should remember His blessings at all times this is the very nature of Thanksgiving. It’s not linked to any religion and is a universal value. If you choose to differ that’s up to you however you have to except people have different interpretations and beliefs. Clearly she doesn’t see that it is inconsistent with her Islamic belief , Gathering with your family and eating food and saying thanks to God does not divert from Islam.

See again you have to decide you want to flex your earrings or wear the hijab properly. You can’t do both. Don’t force yourself.

Someone explain please as I don't get it. Top half does not match bottom half. She's wearing hijab that doesn't cover her chest, and a shimmery skirt that clearly outlines her backside and thigh shape. So what's the point of wearing hijab that just covers just the hair, or is it just a fashion statement? 🤔
