Well its a genre of play tragi_comedy famous classical plays use to be tragedy plus comedy so it is just to include such plays in laughter fest why not its a perfect choice. And we Napians are famous for setting trends as always.

@@sidratahirofficial You probably mean dark humor from "Tragic comedies". Well this play may fall under subtle humor but definitely not under the banner of 'laughter'. It has to be more explicit , more vivid , and more express full for laughter to happen. Checkup recordings of "Biwi ho tou apni " a NAPA play directed by Aisha Hassan, staring Farhan Alam etc. the spectators went short of breath... off laughing. Another such play I saw was "Ghanchakkar" in 2019 laughter festival.

Well i have watched every play since festival started i was one of the the first batch to perform at first festival so i know what's the level of plays its not easy to create theatre experience virtually yes humour is missing i have seen great plays like chacha chakan and latri jo lafro also some intense plays like kafka and Equus etc.

@@sidratahirofficial We karachites are proud of our NAPA and their achievements.. In fact I feel that the element of theater was a 'missing link' from the literary landscape of our city. Something which Lahore has achieved much more then us. I've seen Ajoka's performances and they are remarkable! Infact most work on urdu literature has been done more in Lahore then in Karachi. NAPA is a good start . I pray and for success of our artists, writers and performers.

Napa has also created some remarkable literary plays like waiting for godot king lear and many more... Keep having a good literary taste 😊
