I guess u usually speak in English to yr child that’s why he is speaking English back to u,if we look at Korean and Chinese American all of them wil speak in their own mother tongue,that’s difference between us and them!
Please be sensitive before you write any comments regards to my kids and before making any racial comments, yes my boy is Latino and I am trying my best to teach them Tibetan. Regarding Tibetan language may be for u language is most important but for me yes language is a part of our identity but it does not represent us as a true Tibetan. I believe in teaching my kids moral of good human being and to teach them to follow his holiness teachings. Yes we do try our best to teach them tibetan language and it is hard being in western country. I request you before you type anything, my kids do read comments so please be mindful. Thank you
I don’t think it hard because if u look at early Tibetans who have migrated to west like us,we belong to clan of kudraks( aristocrats), we migrated here in 80s ,my grand children’s ,my nephews and cousins speak in tibetan language that too far more better than tibetans in India so I think parents are sole responsible ,anyway I am sorry to interrupt in your personal space.
