Tip 6: io's ult dosen't colide with the ground so you can ult straight down and it wont explode Tip 7: you can use luna as a way of stopping a dangerous enemy ult like drogoz dragon punch, just put luna in front of you so you dont take the blast Tip 8: you can use lunar leap as mobility rather than escape by doing a 180 turn before leaping
If you put the card that gives her ten hp when she heals teammates on five so it gives you 50 hp per second second whilst healing Luna classes as a teammate so you can camp on Luna with spam heals
i have important io tips: with her cards: u can shoot deployables and shields to get back moon light too u can heal luna to reduce her deploy cd too like allies u can time ur F right to get the double F with the F reset card (u can get reset before first one goes on cd while on air) and for her ult: if the enemy is very close then ult while u are looking at the ground to their direction (around 10 degrees) this will make ur ult travel in a straight line slowly which will give u and ur team time to shoot the enemie(s) while they are stuck in ur ult, if they are not close, then remember that io’s ult has 2 hitboxes, the smaller dark one is the one that hits surfaces and activates the 800 dmg, the bigger one is the one that pulls enemies. so using it right u can pull someone who is hiding behind a wall without destroying ur ult
Special tip against Ash : Io's Ult can be used to avoid the stun on Ash's Ult, AND send her away from her invicibility just after she hit the ground. It require a bit of timing, but it is classy and efficient.
If you’re playing resonance Ying, don’t add up your Brittle card but instead improve the dimensional link deck. It will explode with every teleport, so the longer the duration and the shorter the cooldown, the more auto shatters you will get.
Hey Jay Now that Tiberius is out it would be very cool if you could put out a video where you talk about how to play against him or counter him. This will most likely end some speculations about him being op and I really need that hints to play against him...
You can't win in a 1v1 against him if his combat transe is activated. If it is the case, hide and wait for it to end. He is very vulnerable during his ultimate (no CC immune, huge animation recovery). Every kind of CC is huge against him If you get hit by the blade, move away from the path to try avoid recall He is bad at applying cauterize (Blade does not, ultimate does not) Don't fight with a wall right behind you, it is easier to hit for him if you are (blade recall faster, chakram bounces) Tiberius is a champion that alternate between "OP" and "Normal" during the match. You need to watch him, because his CD are huge (more than 10 seconds each), and with no ability, he is the worst champion ever.
This is just a tip for any champion and it is just my opinion but if you play a champion like maeve where she can either heal for entering prowl or have damage reduction id say prioritize damage reduction because healing can be very easily canceled by caut but damage reduction can't EG. Now when I realized this first with ruam it got a little hard to change the way I thought about plaing but I got to the point where I whould have 3 people front on trying to take me out but they jut werent doing anything to me and with maeve being flanked by another flank and the dmg dreduction just helped me clutch the win on them
I've been enjoying Io a lot in the last few months. I've almost exclusively only played Seris and Furia before then. These tips are good to know! I'm pretty good with her now but I've learned a few things from this video. Thanks for the info! Zhin would be a great choice for a new video. :)
pretty good Evie Tip, which can be self explatintory, but i dont see people soing it, is when you get an important kill, (frontline, or helare maybe?) ice Block to become inmune. Ive seen so many people not doing this and they always die
This should be obvious, but Io's ult gives her cc and damage immunity. You can use it just to survive a big ult. On top of that, Io gets her ult relatively quick, so don't need to save it. You could use it to clear a point or get a 5k(and yes, that shit is funny when it happens), but it is better to use it to kill or displace a flank who is diving you.
Am I the only that feels Io veeeery weak right now? I mean she still has little bit of a utility with Luna, but her healing feels kind of bad (compared to everyone) and the Goddess' Blessing dr does not feel worth it now. Life Link is the "most viable", imo, but even with that it feels mediocre.
Tbh IO feels the a bit slower but the new moon walker card feels super good. It’s still keeps its old traits of being flexible but not super high healing. I feel like I can pocket better since 260 moonlight when you only consume about 33 per second means that the channel goes from 6s to 7.8s while increasing her recharge cards since it’s percentage based. IO is pretty good compared to Mal’damba since mending spirits doesn’t have that much value without swift spirits and spirits chosens and without the gourd damage the enemies can just take way more space then before. The new Mal’damba is basically smoke and daggers Skye without the damage, duration, speed boost, self sustain and with pretty good stuns. Tbh most supports stayed the same but IO went from a game changing dr bot with an op Luna into a somewhat okay support with an even powerful Luna and Mal went from good but cc is too counterable into reverse Furia (amazing cc, bad damage and healing)
Begone's hitbox after catching an enemy won;t stop if the ult hitbox touches terrain , in order for it to stop the enemy hitbox has to touch something, also resilience affects its duration.
im relatively new to the game ( 1year) only after like 11 months do i find out about animation cancelling and i dont know much about other champs reload/animation cancelling... any chance we can have a vid for all of champs?
its possible with almost every champ. you just have to know which abilities cancel the animation and when to use it. idk if its worth making a whole video about it but you can go to the training grounds and easily find out :)
if someone is chasing you summon luna between you and enemy and try to hide behind it if you are lucky luna stuns him and you can escape or finish enemy
I don't agree with tip 3. If you're jumping you have less control of your character then if you were to be grounded. Less controls means it's harder to be unpredictable. I would recommend staying grounding and strafing instead while waiting for luna stun.
Less accurate shots while your feet aren't touching the ground. Basically your aiming reticle is bigger and it's harder to hit targets at the center of it.
iam suprised u didnt mention the fact u can use io ult in the stairs in the highground and it will travel the enitre path to the enemy side or if u generally ult the ground with io the fox will travel the ground and go down or up depending on the plain
Press x to doubt , I don't see any reason to play heal slave characters , in specially if the don't have a reliable multi heal option , yeah having a sudo tank as a deployable is nice but I also give up playing the actual game 80% of the time and the rest 20% I feel like half of it I'm trying to reload the damn bow, not to add the fact that the escape makes you jump backwards in a big arc , really hard to manage not getting stuck on something in a tight situation. My point is , Io has a weapon and abilities that require to high of a skill ceiling for too little payoff .
