i doubt it, afaik hirez shafted the development team of paladins by a lot, i hope that changes but the chances are slim i'd say

I think hi rez fails to see the potential in their own games and think they need to be the same as the rest to compete instad of being their own thing

Yeah this phenomenon with hirez happens because they always chase after the trends. Almost all of their games follow the reciepe of take a game that's popular, change a few things about it at the core to try and make it their own and introduce their own fun little quirks to it, then release it. This ends up giving these games a good first impression to many players in the beginning because they already had a good blueprint and all they had to do was try to make that more of their own with fun little mechanics unique to them. I'm okay with them doing this because apparently they've no original ideas as a company but its whatever. many games do this anyway. However, once it goes past this initial stage, they either continue chasing after new trends to add to their existing games and make it a mess core design wise or they fail to understand their own game and make changes that doesn't fit it. They always try to do too much. Both within each game and as a company itself. always looking for the next big thing/ trend to chase while abandoning their previous games or Run the games into the ground because they themselves don't know what to do with their game. I'd say paladins eventually found its identity similar to smite but it was way too late for paladins and many people already tried and quit the game already by this time with no intention of going back. Personally I played from closed beta until Vora regularly and irregularly until vatu release and quit after because the game I liked was long gone and it was a buggy mess with bad servers, features like top play and kill cam removed, old heroes like kinessa forgotten while newer heroes had too much value for no effort. essentially they lost sight with their balance philosophy and not having a healthy skill curve thats rewarding etc. So if they can't even retain players who have been there from the beginning, how would they succesfully gain any meaningful amount of newer players? The company itself needs to change fundamentally and create something original, then they need to understand that they can keep doing their own thing while understanding and developing the game with the community for it to be successful instead of always chasing some impossible dream.

They haven't had any job openings for years. The only ones they usually have is for SMITE

@@knotforsail they need to have open hire for different issues of the game, polish,map design, character rework,balance team and lastly common fuckin sense.

@@knotforsail and if they have issues funding the games then have fundraisers for the community to vote soon as well as a better monetization system,like character bundles like a 178.99 dollar bundle for all of Androxus's content from all his skins and weapons and emotes and poses to top player intros and character chapters, whoever is the most popular character gets the highest bundle price and the best part is that it's player friendly to the customer that is a specific main that doesn't want to game their hard earned crystals on some shitty chests that are guaranteed to give you 1/2000+ options of unwanted garbage. Lastly they need to get rid of the static capsule hitboxs for slimmer more accurate ones,it would make balancing way more easier.

@@knotforsail their only doing lay offs because of money and paying people for work, maybe the games need to come clean and say "hey, we aren't capable of knowing what you as our audience wants so we would like to know and see how you would help us help you" I get it,it's a job at the end of the day,but there won't be a job to do when there's nobody seeking your services anymore.

In pc it takes from 5 seconds to 40 at most for casual matches. I dont even play ranked because of squad limitation due to the low ranked players.

It's most likely going to take at least another 3 to 4 years to come out, unless they've been working on it for a while now already(there certainly have been hints from the CEO, but they're very recent). Remember that their current focus is Smite 2 and that's scheduled to fully release only by 2025.
