1 cup Palak (spinach)
1 cup Methi (fenugreek leaves)
1 cup Toor dal (pigeon peas)
3 tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
5 to 6 green chilies, slit
4-5 cloves garlic, minced
Curry leaves
A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
Salt to taste
1½ tsp Sambar powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
½ tsp Turmeric powder
For Tadka:
Oil
½ tsp Mustard seeds
½ tsp Cumin seeds
Curry leaves
2 dry chilies, broken
A pinch of hing (asafoetida)
