PALAU: A Taste of Paradise 

I lived here as a child until I was maybe 7 years old. I now realize how lucky I was it is indescribably beautiful i love in California now but growing up in Palau really made me appreciate nature and life and to respect and love our environment

Im from Philippines and Palau is just in southeast of my country i want ot go their someday.

Paradise... been dreaming to come here.. such a haven..

And to think, decades ago those smooth and tranquil sandy beaches and lush, green valleys and ridges were once littered with mines, corpses, destroyed lvts, tanks and had thousands of Marines storming into one of the most disgusting battles of WW2. Thank god it is a paradise today.

The island is too beautiful for the billionaires to come into this beautiful island, it will destroy the ocean and the country itself! That future blueprint is totally unacceptable to the Islanders. It's one of the beautiful islands in the world, don't let Chinese, Japanese, Koreans or anyone to build these outrageous buildings! DO NOT DESTROY THIS BEAUTIFUL ISLAND!!

We stayed here once and loved it. The staff is very friendly and you are very close to the dives sites you see here.

I watch this video thin I notice than palau people is like our Filipino natives I am a Filipino but my blood is mix with Spain or American maybe .but this palauan people is like a pure blood Filipino I can see it by there skin face etc that is why some of Palauan studied in the Philippines because people will think they are just ordinary Filipino.;) I am amaze

Haven't been home since 1996...I miss going fishing and going to the Rock Islands with my relatives....The thing about it is that I am living in Guam...a plane away...but..never had a chance to go home....Seriouly thinking of going home soon..I miss eating beluim and smoked fish...pigeon and giant clam...sigh...

I want visit my grandparents home I was only told stories of Belau and cannot even begin to imagine how beautiful their home is in person. I dislike that I was born in America I'd rather have been born there where my heart longs to be.
