the breaking away from the usual style of larkin's songs works SO well here, for ze'mer's mysterious atmosphere, and yet fits in well enough to not be jarringly different. very "dangerous" sounding song, but still has those light, elegant parts to it, not unlike the knight herself. i love it!!
@RushWheeler yeah, but even then it probably would have been better without imo. I love the change in instruments but I still think thr choir was the weak link in that song

Just about. I had a stupid amount of projects one week before the test week, so revising for everything was tight. I still made it though with a 6.0, so I’m ecstatic that my mark was so high for how little time I had to revise for every subject.
@@Micolash-Cage-of-Nightmare It's probably so that the base fight is actually doable for most people, so they can get the charm. As to why Ze'mer, and not someone else, I'd have to guess it's because she comes from another land besides Hallownest, where the delicate flowers naturally grow. The white lady says, that they hold a mysterious power and hold it close, you'd have to be unaware of that. So they are apparently dangerous, but Ze'mer kept those flowers with her all the time. And you'd think she would be aware of their power, since she came from where the flowers originated. So it kinda makes sense to make her as powerful as you would expect of someone who carries those dangerous things with her.
@@orca9281delicate flower power doesn't need to mean dangerous. It is just very powerful. Infact we see it's power in positive in game but yeah it is very powerful nonetheless.
This track almost sounds like it belongs in Ender Lilies, honestly. Which is a big compliment because much like Hollow Knight, Ender Lilies' OST was amazing

I am stunned by the work that was put into the content and especially in this case, by the music composition!, Outstanding work,! Listening all time. I may find myself without patience Vs all the bosses (Dryya actually defeated), but still admire the work!
I'm a bit late to the party, but after getting radiant charmless on this fight and fully mastering it, here to drop my appreciation for this. I love how well this track fits in-game. The introduction to phase 2 is synced perfectly with that initial "holy shit" attack. Then again, at 1:50, when the music goes from awe to fear/danger, she's likely pulling out that phase transition super-attack AGAIN. This far into the fight, that attack coming out again is so incredibly scary and, somehow the music is always right on cue for it. After that, though, the track de-amplifies and gives way to this quite beautiful rendition of the White Palace melody. There's so much drama having this quiet part play so late into the fight when the player has gotten so far. I've come so far - but can I keep this up for longer? Can *she*? And of course, the music becoming suddenly quieter is a wonderful contrast to a part of the fight that most players are probably the most focused for and invested in, it's great.
Why Ze'mer as final boss of mod? And why is the one with 2 phases? (Except Isma) Only curiosity, I love this mod Dryya needs 2 phase too its an incredible fight
Because she belongs from another land. She is mysterious and hold the power of delicate flower because she belongs from a land where it blooms normally. That's why she is very powerful.
It was the first that I thougt, she is directly related to flower final and she and the flower are more relevants that they seems, I also see her well as final boss
But I don’t think there’s that much power difference between the pale court, ze' mer is a few overpower, the others knights needs a 2 phase too or more abilites at least Hegemol and Dryya (I dont forget to say that this MOD-DLC is an incredible gift to HK community, an incredible job of developers and I can breath the love placed by It creators at every moment of the mod, thanks for this amazing new experience)

Why the hell did ze'mer not just carry the flower themselves. At this point you're no longer fighting a hollow knight boss. You're fighting vergil from devil may cry.
