Paledusk is a beautiful chaotic metalcore band. The energy of their songs is amazing!

The creativity from Paledusk is mind blowing! And no one else can make a song with that much chaos AND a catchy AF chorus 🤘

I was completely taken aback when I first heard Paledusk a few months ago. I listened to Wind Back four times because I was so unsure about it. Now they're probably my favorite new band I've heard in the last five years. One of my favorite things about metalcore and related subgenres is the unique rhythms and changes mixed with heaviness. It's something you can't really find in other music. And with any music, your relationship to a song changes as you become more familiar with where the melodies and rhythms go- it's one of my favorite things about music. Paledusk just gives so much more to chew on in that regard. Like you said in the video, you could listen to this a hundred times and you still might not fully know it.

I'm lovingly putting bands like Paledusk, Jiluka, etc under what I'm calling "polycore" because they're so genre spanning it's impossible to pin them down.
