I got a black Gallimimus in Dapplewood, my first ultra rare. My dream/hope is to get a black or albino T-Rex or Utahraptor. A tip for anyone searching for rare colors is, I am 99.9% sure that Stormy weather has boosted odds. I had a Stormy Cretumnus day and every area I had access to at the time had an uncommon or rare colored dino in their herd. No ultra rares on my particular Stormy day, but if you see a Stormy day, *search everywhere asap*
OMG!! So, I've been playing since the demo, I already thought with the last video "ah, probably nothing too new" but learned a few things I never realized and now again! I had a big "Oooh" lightbulb moment the other day when I saw in the journal that I can actually plant berries, but it never grew. I figured, that must be because I was too late to have it grow in season but nope, apparently the fertilizer is the issue! So thanks for that! 😂
Jynn, I really appreciate your videos. You are so careful with spoiling, and I appreciate it very much. Excellent information. Had not seen T Rex before, and I appreciate the help on the Picnic. I just ran into my first one, and an Earthy pile was created (I do not have access to Earthy yet). So, your suggestions and information are very helpful (particularly your ranch work / hunting colors reload tip!).
Someone in the desert offers the dreamstone large small conversion. It might be Freya, I don't quite remember. The large to small just costs shells iirc but the small to large you add a material. Might be sandstone.
Im always so paranoid that theres an ultra rare dino on the day im on so i end up doing 1/2 quests and just spend the rest of the day going to all the dinos spots to see if theres an ultra rare dino.. end up not watering my plants/clearing debris on my ranch/many dinos not happy 😅😅 So thanks for the tip about quitting to save time!! So helpful! 🥰🥰 Please continue making these videos! It really helps 😊
yea definitely check area for dino spawns, then if there's nothing there just quit to when you left your ranch, it saves you a bunch of time so you can work on your farm!
If that's still a problem then set in game time to lazy, nothing goes by slower except how much time passes. I'm able to pass all three locations and it still be morning into afternoon!
I have to admit having no in game data for the pen biome system really hurt my gameplay. Same with identifying plants to buy from Corlin that would count towards a specific biome. There's a lack of info for sure.
some of the decor is titled in a way that tells you, but not all of it for sure Like, Standing Valley Rock or Valley Flowers, or dapplewood bush, and anything mushroom related is forest, but what is Foxglove? i thought they were Valley but they're actually Forest
@JynnGaming that's what I was wondering too. I see foxglove in the Forrest but I don't want to waste my hard earned shells if it isn't going to garentee that I'll get a forest biome
@@JynnGaming Foxglove funnily enough is the ONLY one I guessed right (other than ones with Valley in the name) because I remembered seeing them in the forest and trying to pick the up because they looked so big and interactable.
Ooo that utah skin is beautiful! I'm pretty sure the wiki is still missing a picture of the portals skin for utah if you have the time to upload a picture :)
I've only seen 2 ultra rare ever in my current save. VERY first day there was a melanistic Cory and I can't tame it because it requires a locked poppin XD and I just tonight I came across a pearl taco. I didn't even want a taco but how do you pass on an ultra rare? XD This game seriously hates me when it comes to certain rares but especially ultra rare. It's my goal to get melanistic dinos of my fav ones lol. Omg, the quit and reload your save is GENIUS. Thank you so much for that tip!
Thanks so much for this video. Its so helpful! Ive been such an idiot about the truffles! I thought I needed a new clearer tool not a dino with the clearer ability! One question I have is about opening the desert. I just need the rope from Orani but when I saw her in pebble plaza she didnt mention it and she wasnt selling it. So now I'm not sure how to get it?
Thank you so much for the picnic tip cause I want to make a new save after playing through a year and I couldn't get how people got different dinos in the picnic when all I got was dilos both days
Question about the picnic, do you have to open the zone for dino species to come to it? Like can you get rexes if you haven't opened dappelwoods or utahs if you haven't opened the canyon?
I had to miss out on an ultra rare Wuerhosaurus cause I didn’t have a ankylosaurus to break the log in the way. But I did get an ultra rare ankylosaurus and a lido, i don’t remember the name of it but it’s one of the small dinos
Hey Jynn, I’ve been watching all your Paleo Pines guides, but haven’t caught up with your playthrough so I’d just thought I’d ask now… How do I use the abilites of non-ridable dinos? I have a ton of little dinos now, from discoverers to tenders and whatnot, but I have no idea how to put them to use.
So there is a villager called Avery, he'll start showing up in Pebble Plaza just before the Shenanigan festive (looks like colorful flags on the calender) He gives you quests to learn how to do that
thanks for the video! It helps so much but one simple thing i really need help with is where and how to find dandelions. I just started today and its really fun to find everything out step by step but the dandelions gnaw at my sanity xd
in the valley, usually on hilltops! Check the hills near Owynns house, mari's house, and near the coelphysis. THere's also some on the little hills near the cooking pot
Thank sooo much for your helpful tips! very helpful indeed and I thank you much^^ I have a simple question that I have been struggling to find and hoping you can answer. >.< But do you know how many dino's you can have in your farm? is it unlimited? I recently started playing this game a few days ago (LOVE IT LIKE CRAZY!) but still at the very beginning. So far I only have 5 dino's and am overwhelmed with having to keep them happy on a daily bases, petting them and giving them all snacks. how many do you yourself have total? is it possible to have all dino types in your ranch? I really want all the dino's but yes, am overwhelmed with having to keep them happy daily. they are all happy for the most part, but as you progress through the game, is there such unlockable items, tips or tricks towards keeping multiple dino's happy without the players tending to them everyday? many thanks ^o^
Doing quests for them! Im not sure just talking will so it. Be sure to give them something on their budding day, cooked food especially seem to increase their friendship
So I've not seen this question answered anywhere. Do you know if there's a way to get rid of or move the trees on your ranch? Some of them are in the way of pens I want to build.
how do you get the little pot item to make the small dinos tend to crops and plant seeds and stuff? i watched all your paleo pines videos and i saw one part where you mentioned you got the pot item but if you said how to use/get it i must have missed it sorry if its a dumb question, i just cant find any info on this anywhere yet since the game is so new haha except i did hear someone say its locked behind a quest? ( they could have meant the quest board now that i think about it but im not sure still ) im on my 2nd year and have done a lot of the main quests and made a lot of progress so i wouldve thought if it was a questline i would have got it by now but i just havent thank you for your videos though, they are so fun to watch and learn from!
This game looks cute and cozy, but its a bit boring. I played it for an 1 hour and 1/2 and found myself wanting there to be more to do, like building up the house / decorating, etc. But, other than just building dino pens, its very limited. The game needs some questing or adventuring type errands and I don't mean fetch quests. Something to break up the monotony of just befriending some dinosaurs. I think the game is a big missed opportunity, unless they have DLC's or something in mind for the near future.
So I really wanna plant apples, pears and peaches but none of my quests that show up have the seeds for them? Is this a bug? Is there another way to get the seeds or am I just doomed to never have an orchard like my dreams? 😭
Tree seeds are quest rewards for specific villager personal quests. So not the quests from the quest board, but the much longer personal quests that you do for them. These quests also tend to have a achievement tied to them
Yea definitely, that's why I recommend reloading your save after checking colors in one region and not finding anything. It saves at least a bit of time
