When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was your different height of paleo creatures remade again but I didn't expect a video of the history of the Earth or at least parts of it
Mammoths could have seen a decline in their diets. Also humans could have practice slash and burn to kill predators and hunting. The burned land would have led these hungry animals to migrate to less favorable area for food leading to die out in pockets. Australia seems to show some evidence of this practice that might have led to the extinction of Megalania.
That's a fair point and likely played a role, but I have to wonder if mammoths would have been done in by the change in climate anyway. They seemed to be highly specialized for an ice age environment.
@@seanmckelvey6618 Diet is more likely. For Example muskox ( survivors of the ice age ) are highly evolved to live in cold regions and get overheated due to their hairy coats. They have been forced to become isolated like mammoths became, luckily their dietary sources are still around.
