Palestinian Terrorist Defender Appointed to Antisemitism Committee

While tensions in the Middle East rage, concerns are still mounting over antisemitism at U.S. universities. On Capitol Hill Thursday, collegiate leaders faced questions from House lawmakers on the issue, addressing the challenge between balancing free speech and keeping students safe.
The hearing, which was dubbed "Calling for Accountability: Stopping Antisemitic College Chaos", included several university presidents who dealt with violent protests, including UCLA Chancellor Gene Block.
"I'm fully aware that many of our Jewish students have had to confront rhetoric and images on campus that any reasonable person would find repugnant. Trust me, I understand their pain. I've lived it myself as a Jewish kid growing up in the Catskill region of New York with relatives who were Holocaust survivors," Block said.

There is a war in Gaza, and if there were a genocidal intent in that war, then for one thing, there would have been no warning before attacking. In war, people die. That's just war. No want wants innocent people to die, especially not kids. But it happens. Weirdly enough, the UN quietly changed their numbers about the ratio of kids, women, and men that got killed, and no one is saying anything. Not that it makes it all good, death is still horrible. Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh (Al-Jazeera Network Jan-2024): “The people of Gaza constitute *our frontline trench for defense* , as well as for offense. They are not there only to defend, but also to attack.” What leader will call his people frontline trench for defense? He is basically admitting they are using them. There are too many genocides in the world happening right now. Myanmar and Sudan are just 2 examples. People yelling everywhere about a made-up genocide that does not exist just reduces the meaning of the word. There is no genocide in Gaza. There is a war there, and wars are horrible. They are deadly, and they always include civilian casualties, especially in Urban areas. If you want to blame anyone, blame Hamas for not providing the Gazans with shelters, and for not allowing even children to hide from strikes in the tunnels, like their fighters do. Protest for Hamas to release the hostages and surrender. If they do that, the fighting will be over.
