Okay this guy has no clue what the hell he's talking about, sorry. He's just some romantic who wishes Iran would go back to its ancient heritage which it never will, get over it. I'd be surprised if he was even Iranian. The Prophet Muhammad didn't attack or conquer the Sassanid Persians once. The conquest of Persia (and Roman lands) happened after his death. Saudi Arabia is a modern country born in the 20th century, not the Caliphate of the 7th century. There was no genocide and no widespread forced conversions of Persians. If he knew what the hell he was talking about, he'd know Persians formed the majority of Islamic scholarship and philosophy, they converted of their own free will, being Zoroastrian was not illegal in the empire. Lastly, there is no Zoroastrian wave in Iran. Sorry. In fact, Iranian Zoroastrians are pretty hostile to converts, they're a very exclusive group. Indian Zoroastrians (who are the majority of Zoroastrians these days) are more open to conversion. There's a wave of anti religiosity in general happening in some portions of Iranian diaspora populations and, to a lesser extent, within Iran. But any idea that Iranians are going to go back to being Zoroastrians is just fantasy, there's zero evidence for that. The reality of why Palestinians seem kind of disillusioned with Iran is because they probably just see Iran promising many things to them and not delivering, just like all the other countries that promise them anything.
