Omg! I thought I saw the rainbow butterfly at one of the Groves yesterday, but it was 1am and I knew they shouldn’t spawn so I questioned myself and it disappeared.

Can confirm, earlier I went to a grove and saw the Proudhorn, but i didn't realize until this video that it was a coded thing. This also means that the ones i saw before i knew about the groves likely also meant I went past the grove without paying any attention lol.

OH MY GOSH! 🤯 NO WONDER WHY THE DISCO DEER AND DOGGOS SPAWN AT THE GROVES ALL OF THE TIME! IT IS A THING!! AND ONE TIME SOMEONE CALLED OUT A RAINBOW BUTTERFLY AT A GROVE AT MIDNIGHT IN THE OUTSKIRTS. I MISSED IT BUT! ! AAAAA! WOW THIS MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Yeah I try to be the first to find it before people would scare away the creature before I would arrive. Caught a lot of epic bugs like this

North of Statue Garden, during the grove I got the bluebristle muujin and when the grove was inside flooded fortress I got a rainbow butterfly. I was real lucky.

This makes total sense. A couple weeks ago I played many, many very late hours one day and I ended up seeing some fresh groves, and there was a chaapa at a couple of them north of the wall. I thought it was just some really weird Twilight Zone thing, but now this makes it make sense!!

Maybe it’s too much to ask but can you perhaps make a video about all the things you need to catch and offer in the grotto near Hekla’s tent? Like where to find the Void ray or spitfire cicada.

I had a Proudhorn sernuk spawn in front of me outside the top Pavel Mine entrance when the flow grove spawned and I just happened to be there. Was really WOW!

it is actually true! been seeing muujins and proudhorns so far but heard bugs flying around, realised that they are around and it disappeared T_T well, people in asia servers either don't comm, or comm in another language ( i do not blame them but this is a problem, i DO NOT UNDERSTAND) or simply do not want to bother to comm. i had no choice to be the first on scene at a grove D:

After cutting the grove, the magic muujin has nowhere to hide and us 15 players spawn killed it to get my muujin achievement as a solo player😅😅 I only interact with other people via grove 😂

Yeah, the graphics are unfortunately not as nice on the switch,. TQs game is on "epic" settings on PC. I hope they will improve things over time for the switch though!

you can chop down the tiny and small ones with the fully upgraded axe, it'll just take a minute. otherwise yes, you'll need a friend or two.

@@H1dd3n_Dr4g0n they spawn every palian day at midnight, most people chop then around 2 or 3AM after calling them out. Two can be spawned in at once, but only if the previous nights grove was for some reason not found/not chopped down. There can be no more than two up at any time. Once a grove is chopped down, another will appear the next night at midnight somewhere on the map. There are specific grove locations, and once you get used to them you'll know where to look ; however they are all over the map so it can be tough to get to one first. It's a lot of luck.
