If you play with friends a lot, make sure to have several mixing stations and stoves. A lot of cooking phases can be done simultaneously as long as there is free counterspace.
SOOO ANNOYING! I keep burning all my meals I’m on the switch and they made it soo difficult to understand all it says is “ stir” LIKE HELLO WHAT BUTTON STIR WHAT? Ugh immediately logged out of palia since then
Is literally button A for almost everything... I'm in the switch too and for me it's difficult to understand which things has to be made first because they just show everything you had to do and the time running.
Not sure if it's true for all foods, but cooked fish adds the ingredients in value. Sells for the same, but has a chance to upgrade quality which sells for more, so it's always worth cooking even if you aren't worried about the exp.
Thanks for the info Ms. Bee. And thanks for the entertainment. I really like the look of this game, though I'm not sure about the MMO aspect. I usually play everything offline
Hey there, there is actually very limited MMO required in the game, it benefits when mining palium and chopping flow trees but other than that - my experience is that the rest of the game can be played and enjoyed solo
I find the symbols very confusing when under time pressure, esp first few times cooking a new dish. If a recipe book was this vague irl it would go into the bin along with the ruined food!
I have been trying to cook... and it keeps messing up.... no one on the game is helpful.... you ask for help... they either ignores you or they say figure it out yourself
@centainesimula Thank you for asking! It was 'x', it just wasn't working that session. I'd given up on cooking, then tried again days later, and it was fine! Too bad chat is buggy for switch after the spring update, lol
I find not anticipating it helps and looking slightly away so the board is just in peripheral vision - just press when it gets to the blue, not before. Easier said than done but it does get easier.
