Everything you need to know in Palia's latest patch update. Patch 0.177 fixes over 200 bugs including Temple of Gales quest "Silver Winging it", Fishing, and more!
Found Items Quests are NOT all in the Rummage Piles. The Patch Notes wording was a little misleading, so make sure you scout around for hidden quests!

There is a new "glitch" in Bahari Bay. All over the bay are short pillars that you can't stand on and you walk right through them.

I'm just guessing, but I heard the flotsam (Bahari Bay rummage piles) are glitched and I saw that the pillars too & thought it might be the flotsam that was supposed to be there and isn't. WitchyTQ, you get fur, I get chappaa meat. At least my worm farm is kept full.

These are just visuals. They are were gatherables can spawn and has no effect on the game. Just ignore them for now.

I'm so excited about the mining node change! Literally all moments in the game of people being deliberately mean or my/someone elses fun being spoiled has been related to palium. I am sure things will be more chill now!

Yeah, I tagged the server on a big palium and set a flare and some jerk hit it like 7 times to break it before anyone else could tap it.

I'm playing in Japan with my sister who is in the U.S., and I've had to use a VPN to play on the same server with her, which can be unreliable. That will be a huge help for us playing, which is a big relief! ;A; Also the fishing bug was really putting me off from leveling that skill. Thanks for the clear video explaining everything! I've been thinking about sending them feedback on the game but now I'm really gonna look into it for any future bugs, so thanks for the reminder on that, too.

It's still a rare node and it is on a timer once mined. I've been calling it out, flaring it before moving on.

This is such an excellent wrap up of such a massive update of fixes and new things. I am so happy about being able to play without a VPN; it had so many side effects which I'm happy to not deal with any more. :D Heck yeah for flare timer extension! New items! More stories!

I don't know what to do the Temple of gales still glitched for me I have all the portals open that means the portal by The Nest 2 but there's no air to help get me on the other side because I need to get to ziki

The mining node change was huge for me. I have only been playing Palia for just under two weeks and finding Palium felt impossible. People wouldn't call it out and I would rarely find it on my own. I was hard stuck on the questline that brings Subiria to town because I couldn't craft the items for her room. I also couldn't upgrade my tools even though I had the recipes. It felt so good being able to craft all of that yesterday.

Thanks for this video. I actually started to feel like I couldn’t progress in the game. I couldn’t make much money, I couldn’t cook most items alone or didn’t understand cooking of more complex recipes. And all the angry, rushed players were disturbing. Since it’s a game, not having fun was a problem. Maybe I’ll try again now?

Have you (or anyone else) tested out how the new mining change affects loot? Like, before when you minded a node together with others you all got the exact same loot. But if you fully minded a node and then someone else mines it too will they get the same loot? If it's the same then maybe it's worth it to flare&callout if you get like a star quality gem so others can grab it too.

For the nodes, does this mean I could potentially just run around and 1 tap all the nodes, then backtrack my steps and pickup everything people mined?

Yup you could always do that. Sometimes loot despawns though. Either because you went too far away or because you took too long to come back.

If you leave the server it will cancel the loot waiting for you, and it despawns around 30 irl seconds after it’s been sitting waiting. I’ll be making a new video answering all of this once I can play 🖤

This might not be necessary now, it seems like they've increased the potential for them to spawn in when trees are cut!

Why is it when you buy a licence to build something that the next licence goes up in price you have to work hard to make a lot of money to get the licence my next one will cost me 12,000 coins that is ridiculous i love this game a lot but you have to be a millionaire to buy or make something that you want and then pay for a licence
