PALIA UPDATE 0.181: Growable Furniture, Party Buffs AND NEW LANDSCAPES?! 

Yes please give us a filter for furniture inventory. Half the time my ADHD self can’t remember what I was looking for after I scroll through that long list.

I deeply want filters for decorating. I disagree on the palium always bring in the same place because I love mining and when it was always in the same place the same people where constantly mining it all. At least the way it is now casual players have a shit at getting some.

@@mwatson7474 you could wait at one of the spots of the route and join the mining group when it would respawn. Now it feels like I also have to mine iron if I’m looking for palium and vice versa. At least have some specific areas. Kinda like how we know where to find most groups of chappas and sernuks etc

Honestly same. One of my least favourite aspects of the game is the flow tree thing. I don’t like how competitive it is and wish it was either a bit more common or there was an option to do it alone 😭

I say all this as someone who has hundreds of hours 99.99% of which is solo. I have joined a party maybe 4 times in my entire play time. Honestly I feel like this criticism of a social MMO is like saying "I'm sad about the fact that some items are locked behind quests because I'm a non-quest player. They should have the option to unlock those items without doing quests or completing any of the story". You can do this for any element of the game. I'm a non-fishing player. I'm a non-gardening player. Etc. etc. It's silly because these are fundamental elements of what the game is designed to be. I don't have to love all of them. I just tend to stick to the ones that I enjoy the most. Now and then I might dabble in the others. Moreover, most group activities don't actually require you to be in a party (e.g. flow tree groves, lures, group fishing buffs, etc.) and for these new things that do, grouping up with random strangers is so easy. You don't need to have a group of friends that you play with. There are always people around wanting to do group activities together without you having to socialise with them or become friends.

​@@Stephie010302 you can cut plenty of flow trees solo and flow tree groves give you enormous amounts of flow trees without needing to be in any party.

Yes! More adventure zones is the one update I'm really hoping for. That will change the game more than anything.

Yeah that’s a bummer that they’re so expensive. Hopefully they’ll drop the price as they add more seasonal ones (I can expect some for fall/halloween and snowy winter time, which will be pretty cool)

At least they only put customizable stuff behind a pay wall tho, no part of the actual game have they ever made someone pay for... games like dreamlight valley actually have furniture and quests behind a pay wall... Palia literally only has the skins etc which ARENT NEEDED to play the game

@Lavendrea very true. Both points are very true. I think I was just frustrated because for people like me who aren't in a great place financially really feel it when an update like this is premium store heavy and struggle to support the game through the premium store and buy all the nice things.

I’m actually glad that the landscapes have different price points. That definitely open the door for more people to get cosmetics whilst supporting the game.

K yeah :/ I'm waiting for them to change it so that we can go into the crafting table and see what we have in our storage before crafting something, so that if we forget to check our storage or inventory before crafting something, it doesn't matter, because we can see what we already have from there.

@@zoyadulzura7490 I really wish they would allow us to sell furniture and give us a chance to allow us to buy SOME outfits by coins. I REALLY wish they had allow us to change our house plot by gold and not the premium currency. (edit: I had gotten more irrated because that witch broom is apart of a custom, I thought it was a tool)

I agree 100%. I get that they want to make some things easier for people when they play with other players, but now there's content that you can only access by not just playing with others, but by being part of a party--I don't like it. It is definitely exclusionary for different play styles.
