Palia vs. Dreamlight Valley - Comparing Premium Shops Between Two Similar Games. 

Dreamlight valley didn't remove the ability to get moonstone for free. If you participate in dreamsnaps you can get free moonstones every week.

Okay i am not going to say Disney Dreamlight Valley is not Predatory or does not rely on FOMO but what i will say is the the premium shop you can just ignore it (okay maybe i haven't but it is possible and some only use their free moonstones to get things) you have craft able items along with scrouge store items (they just expanded and added new items to it) and if you just participating in dream snaps and getting your star path items. The first year i played when the premium shop first got added i lasted a year not buying moonstones. Things may take time to return to the premium shop and i can understand that can be annoying but i only buy from the premium shop if i feel i can afford it if i cant it might be not easy to skip and wait i get it but things DO Return. Also not all Bundles have quests The WALL E and Ursula bundles do but the Starlight Bundle and the newest Island getaway Bundle have multiple Items in them along with one house in each of those which if they were just in the premium shop by them selves would be 3750 each but you get those 2 whole bundles for 4k each i have gotten all bundles with my Moonstone reward from Dream snaps. Multiplayer is not locked behind a pay wall you get it from Vanellope as for the Boutique you get that from Daisy Duck and she is not locked behind a paywall either. Yes the rift in time costs and yes the Ancient machines, Scramble coin and Time bending is locked behind that you are right there i got the rift in time it adds extra craftable items as well and 5 characters maybe 6 depending the final chapter for the rift comes out some time in the summer (you only pay that $30 for it the rest of the updates that they add to the rift are free) There are 35 characters in the base game without the rift soon to be 36 or 37 cause the next Free update they will be adding Princess Tiana and not sure if her prince will be joining her yet. I just love Disney dreamlight valley i love decorating and taking photos I believe that part of the reason DDLV did not go free to play has a little to do with Disney Speed Storm they made that i heard very heavily Pay to Win i could be wrong but yeah just my guess and DDLV some may or may not agree with me but i don't feel its pay to win. With Dreamsnaps you can get between 300 - 12k Rank 1: 12k Rank 2: 10k Rank 3: 8K Rank 4: 7k Rank 5: 5k Rank 6: (on wards gets) 4K (not sure of the cut off point) but after that cut off point you get 2500 then the next is 1500 then 1200 then 900 then 600, but you are guaranteed 300. Every week has a different themes and what they show in the banner for the theme of that week is just a example of what you can do. I feel the addition of dreamsnaps was a good thing in my opinion we still get the moonstone chests which give 50 every day and they give 50 moonstones for voting at least once i feel they should make it 50 every day for voting as well. they do occasionally give free moonstones with codes we got 300 with the current Event going on in there discord the Festival of foolishness they gave out 9 codes and two of the codes had 150 moonstones. Oh in the collection tab you asked about that was a in game event called memory mania to celebrate the release of Inside Out 2 i believe you can still do it but its just gonna take a bit longer to do you get 4 companion pets and a statue.
