With over 7 million products in stock, the Czech sporting goods retailer set out to modernise the technological aspects of its warehouse and logistics processes. Consequently, Sportisimo relocated its logistics centre from Rudná u Prahy to Ostrava.
The initial phase saw the construction of more than 62,000 m², designed to accommodate 61,000 pallet slots. And this year, the first expansion of the facility is well underway.
The expanded warehouse now boasts a total capacity of 71,000 pallet spaces across 52 aisles, with rack lengths ranging from 112 to 120 meters where safety 🚧 has been a top priority.
