Palletizing Layers of Frozen Filled Glass Jars with JOULIN 

The challenge:
• Palletizing layers of frozen filled glass jars
• Handling pallets
• Handling cardboard and/or plastic interlayers
Our solution:
Joulin designed a Custom Gripper that handles the products, interlayers and the pallets. This gripper has a compliance/anti-collision system and is equipped with an electro-pneumatic module. With these options, the robot's integrator easily attaches the gripper to the robot!
An ultrasonic sensor, located in the middle of the gripper, initiates a quick approach to the product and optimizes the rate up to 4 cycles per minute.
