About our palliative care services
Murrumbidgee Local Health District provide services to assist people in living their lives as fully and comfortably as possible while dealing with a life-limiting or terminal illness.
Our services assist people and their families in living as comfortably as possible when dealing with a serious illness. Healthcare professionals in hospitals and care facilities offer this service, with specialised staff available to address complex issues.
We help manage physical, emotional, spiritual, and social challenges. We collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure care is well coordinated.
Palliative care support is available at home, in a care facility, or in the hospital.
