Walking at Palm Beach in Aruba during sunset is one of the most beautiful things you can do on the island. In this video, I take you from the Playa Linda hotel to the Divi Phoenix for a slow relaxing walk.

I saved this one for bedtime last night! One of the last things I saw on my visit in '18 was Eduardos. I was leaving for home and had just stopped at a palapa a few steps away to say goodby to friends who were staying a few more days. Your opening shot took me right back! I don't recall that empty pier/dock between Piets and DePalm, so I thought it was the DePalm pier. It had me thinking a storm had destroyed it ! When the sun was setting over the jetty at the Phoenix , I turned out the light, closed my eyes, and went off to dream of my next visit ! Thanks Hyro.

Hello Paul, I'm not sure when that pier was build (or perhaps rebuild) but it has been there for a couple of years. I know the Eduardo's shack is dear to many who visit our island and for that reason I thought of starting the walk there instead of right away on the beach. Thanks for watching :-)

People who have visited the island within the past year, myself included, are fortunate to have experienced Aruba during this time. Even though I love the interaction with people it was a peaceful trip. Not having to worry that places are crowded was a delightful and the downtown traffic was non existent. I’m sure it was easier to capture and film during this time as well with no distractions. Can’t wait to return in August. Another great walking video 👍🏻

Yes, that is so true my friend! While it's not good for business and economy but I have been saying it's one of the best times to visit (and continues to be!). It's still mostly quiet everywhere which is relaxing for us all.

Dear friend!! Your Island is magical indeed!😲😲💎💎 We thought we were dreaming but we weren't. We were watching that incredible sunset and beach! As we are going to stay in a nearby Resort when we have the chance to go there, we are going to Palm Beach which is really huge and wide! Thanks a lot for showing us the kind of magic Aruba has. Greetings Again Hyro, what times do the beaches close there? And can you walk on the beach after they close?

Because of Covid restrictions we are not supposed to be on the beach after 7pm (unless you are at a beach bar/restaurant). But normally there is no closing time. I've heard restrictions are being eased so maybe some time soon we will be able to be there 24Hrs again.

Hello. I'm booking a trip to Aruba in June and I'd like to know if except the insurance and covid test I need something else to enter the island. I'm coming from France.

Hello Sha bin, thanks for watching. As far as I know those are the only things you will need to enter Aruba and has been since the island's reopening last year. If your test is done here when arriving you will need to quarantine until you get your results. That's maximum 24 hours but you would usually get it back the same night. Otherwise if you are getting tested in France before your trip, you are free to head to the beach as soon as you are here :-) In the meantime I will recommend you to confirm the latest with your airline and monitor www.aruba.com for any possible changes.
