We are coming to Aruba for the first time in mid April 2024 and we have been watching lots of RU-vid videos about this amazing island. Yours are the absolute best! Thank you so much for all the time and effort that you put him to making these informative and really unique vids. We will be staying right in the heart of the Palm Beach area and hopefully, we will have the pleasure of running into you while there. Hola. Debo agradecer mucho tu video y la recorrida por toda la zona de Palm beach, ya que cuando fui allí en el 2019 no me había dado cuenta de que existía toda esa zona de restaurantes. Cómo próximamente regresaré a Aruba y gracias a tu video podré disfrutar de conocer y ampliar los lugares a visitar. Por lo que pude observar esa zona que nos mostraste está cercana al Hotel Hilton. En mi viaje anterior conocí la zona cercana al Hotel Holiday inn, pero gracias a tu video tomé conocimiento que hay mucho más a unas pocas cuadras de allí. Qué bueno! My daughter and I stayed at the brickell bay it was great everyone was so great room was always clean we really enjoyed everything ❤

Thank you for taking the time to make these videos. 20 years ago we went on our honeymoon to Aruba, went back 5 years later now we have booked for this year. Oh My how things changed in that time we are going to stay on Eagle Beach but plan on exploring things we found on your channel. Looking forward to seeing more around the Eagle Aruba Resort

Glad you like them! Will try to focus some more on the low rise hotels in the coming month or two so be pending. That area is not as busy and things are not bunched up like in Palm Beach but still a very good choice for an area to stay imho!

Another Great video! Started at the corner I've come to know well over the years of visiting. Had our first meal first trip at KFC because we knew where nothing was after a late arrival. Pikas Corner is a must now every time (steak&lobster) we come. Nice to see around the High rise but was reminded why we try to stay away (Too many people) 😁Nice for Aruba's economy.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if you walk east from where you started you’re going to run into different condos that I hope one day soon I want to purchase I hope you take a walk of that area soon!

When in Aruba back in January 2022, we visited many of these restaurants. Most highly recommended is Wilem's Pancakes (they change to burgers in the afternoon and evening). Their burgers are to die for. So good we went back a week later for seconds. The Indian restaurant you pointed out is exceptional, however the Chinese Restaurant next to it we cannot recommend. It was overpriced and the food was bland. We tried to get into Gianni's but the lineup was too long so we left it to go someplace else. Oh, Smokey Joes was also very good (Chicken & Ribs), Yum! Craft and Lola's also quite good for Mexican style food.

Couldn't agree more to what you said. Some restaurants quality a/o service go up and down unfortunately. I've heard the same feedback from fellow locals and tourists too. I should go for one of those burgers you mentioned though! Thanks for watching!

cool area where you started the video, on the way to Pauline's Apartments and the Buccaneer restaurant. Have all the traffic lights being replaced with roundabouts?, I heard that was the plan a few years back

Thanks :-) Most of the traffic light have been replaced by roundabouts, yes. There are only a handful left. I'm not much of a fan of roundabouts myself but if they help avoid accidents and people loosing their lives then they are sure worth it. Btw I don't see much going on at the Buccaneers. They said they will be back but I doubt it. Thanks for watching!

Hi and Hello! Excellent video! It's been a long time since I was last in the Noord/Palm Beach area. Interesting to see some of the changes being undertaken. Is there really a need for another roundabout? Thanks for showing the location of the Bricks Bay hotel, giving me some ideas and options on places to stay on my next stay( fingers crossed that it can occur before the end of 2022 Had to sit out 2020 due to the you know what) Any chance you could do some videos of the hotels, vacation apartments and condos in the Noord/Palm Beach area? This video was just as enjoyable as your walk from Noord to Palm Beach two years ago. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next one.

Hello Vallon! I'm not a fan of the roundabout's and speed bumps so I totally get your point! I've read that the Brickel Bay was bought by the Radisson so maybe it will be more expensive in the future but at least for now it's a decent choice if you prefer to stay in the Palm Beach area. I sure hope you are able to make it for 2022. As for hotels etc. videos you have no idea how many I have approached with little to no (positive) reaction. However no worries, I will keep insisting on them and it's sure something I'd like to do. I'm looking forward to doing the Noord to Palm Beach again with some commentary. Some things have changed in the area so it's sure worth it. Nice that you still remember it! Thanks again for watching.

@@LetsgowithHyro Looking forward to the next Noord to Palm Beach walk with commentary. There was a small grocery a few steps down from CPV, any idea if it is still there? Also what is going on with the Kong Fui building? On my first visit in 2010 I purchased a disposable camera( remember those?)from the grocery store in the building. By the time I returned for my second visit the grocery was closed down. I see that the New Wi-Tai Resturant is still going strong. A friend of mine who is fortunate to visit Aruba two to three times per year really likes their Sunday Barbecue. I mentioned it to him once and he has become hooked. The little plaza next to the gas station used to have a Dunkin Doughnuts and a Little Ceasers. Near the end of my second visit I had a large order of wings from Little Ceasers, and a couple of doughnuts from Dunkin. Fond memories. Looking forward to the next video(s).

Thanks EdC NJ! There is almost no chance they will reopen the Boca Prins Restaurant (sorry to say but heard it from a good source). I miss it too! The construction of that resort is on a stop for the moment because of a case in court. I can't recall the name though right now. My pleasure, enjoy your Sunday!

Hi :-) Yes most places here play different kind of music (varied). I think around those bars after the Soprano's Piano bar should be playing latin music. You will not have a hard time finding places.

Thank you for the video:). What advice you have if you want to go from the airport to your appartement? Just take a taxi right away? And how much are the average costs? (A 15 minute ride) To travel by the way on Aruba are busses easy to grab? They are a lot cheaper than taxi's i think:)

Thank you too. Depends on the distance but you can ask before driving away. We don't have taxi meters in Aruba. But yes taking a taxi is still a good idea despite the high cost. See arubataxicompany.com/airport-transfers/ Busses are a good and cheaper way to move around but not so easy to/from the airport.
