I’m from Jersey & I don’t know if I could ever get use to the heat in Florida BUT the vibe, atmosphere, architecture , and colors are incredible 🤍🌺🌴 I absolutely adore it
I live in the middle of South Florida and from CT. The heat goes away from November - Mid May. But comes back full force June-Beginning October. It's like any other state during summer, miserable.

Also west palm beach is my home town!! The restaurant “Planta” used to be a big FAO Swartz toy store! It used to have a giant bear outside and it was everything to my childhood 🥹❤️
I’ve always wanted to go to Palm Beach. My fiancé and I are Florida locals and visit Satellite beach a lot. We saw a baby sea turtle that just hatched at 1pm. It was soooo incredibly hot out. We thought it actually died from heat exhaustion, but thankfully my fiancé got a cup of water in his hands and put a little bit on the turtle and he moved!! 🥹 we were able to use the water to direct him back into the ocean. I’m so glad I got to experience that. 🥰
I live in Jupiter and frequently visit palm beach and stay at the breakers for a bit of a staycation. What they didn’t show that I love is the Love Shack Fancy mirror that is decorated with a flower arch and is even more beautiful during holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Easter. Also yes that is off season and I definitely recommend visiting Jupiter and the Jupiter lighthouse. But don’t flood up our traffic or restaurants. I would also just like to add that I grew up visiting the Loggerhead Marine life center and it has changed so much. But I recommendIt more for families and kids.
Allison, I love to go on vacations with you. I love to hear the history of your travels. You would make such a great school teacher. Palm Beach looks so beautiful, and so does Florida. I can see why people are flocking to live there. I just can't stand humid weather. Anyhow looked like a fun time for you and your friend. Thanks for all your vlogs. Glad you enjoy them! 💫 I find a lot of inspo from Instagram, Pinterest, & simply by googling! I try to find Instagram accounts of people who live in the city so I can see more of a local's perspective. I also will ask for suggestions from friends! :)

Allison, I traveled to Orlando with my husband and son earlier this year and we went to a lot of the spots you recommended. We live in Toronto and plan to return to Florida again this year - this time we think we will stay in Orlando for a few nights and then Tampa for 5 nights. they have alot of lizzards.....is that common for Florida?? I saw a baby one in clearwater in my aunts back yard but never saw the big ones.. You have inquanas,,? im from up north Boston..so we dont have lizzards..lol
My mom grew up on Palm Beach!! 🌴 just a few blocks away from the Ocean. She says she lived on the beach, swimming all day. ♡♡ I have been there myself. Can't wait to bring my husband and girls there hopefully next year. You're right about preppy lol my mom's whole family is preppy and proper 😉😏 my mom married a Texan🤠 haha so yeah, us five children grew up in a home that had a good balance of preppy and not so preppy lol.
I live in West Palm! It was great seeing a few places I haven’t tried yet, beautiful video. If you’re ever back in town, check out The Society of the Four Arts in Palm beach. It’s a gorgeous garden and free entry. I like to pick up lunch at PB wraps and have lunch on their grounds
