It certainly was. Sorry your Trachy did not pick up this summer. If you look at my mid summer update you will see there are more damaged leaves that were not showing in this spring video. 😎🌴

Thanks for appreciating my palms, Vincenze! I’ve had the big Washingtonia for more than 20 years so fingers crossed it makes a green shoot in mid summer. Sorry to hear you lost two small ones. Filifera are slightly hardier but not easy to find.

@@jtruman48 No problem, love the channel! Wonderful, can’t wait for that! I grow palms here in the Washington, D.C. area and I am always amazed by what you guys can grow up in the UK so far north of us.

@@palmplanet Thank you! You are lucky to have long hot summers in DC for palms to grow but you do have a little snow in winter. I stayed in Georgetown during spring long ago. If you type "trip to the Palm Centre London" you will see my two videos of the wonderful nursery where I bought all my palms.

@@jtruman48 Yeah we have super hot and humid, tropical-like summers. That’s awesome, Georgetown is nice. I will check out those videos, the Palm Centre looks incredible!

@@jtruman48 I also have videos of local palms on my RU-vid channel, Palm Planet. No Washys or CIDP here but there are some 20-30 foot Trachys, a big Sabal ‘Birmingham’, and lots of Sabal minor and needle palms. Thanks!
