Testing the Palmolive Shave Soap with a low cost, but good quality razor.
This is one of my favourite combinattions I found from trial and error anyway so thought it was a good one to start with.
Best way to get an ultra low cost but ultra close, easy shave.

Nice to see how well the Palmolive stick works without a brush. While I use a brush most days at home, using just my hands would be a great travel option. Well done! 👍

Hello again, glad I found this video - I've never used anything other than foam or gel - didn't realise a shave stick could be applied direct to the face and lathered up, always thought it was the more labourious brush and bowl procedure. Used it this morning (with some trial and error) along with KoS Retro 4................great results, can't think of a better shave. Thanks once more.

Bought this today for 50p & a W/S brush on sale in sainsburys for £2. Best head shave in months earlier, thought gilette fusion sensitive gel was good but this combo was better smelling, a better lather & more strokes as less razor clogging. 👍🏻 thanks

Tesco have discontinued selling this brand, however it is still available in Superdrug and Savers discount stores at 75p.

God you folks have so much more choice than we do in Canada. well.. in terms of two blading shaving, Schicks ST2 (when I have actually find them) Personna's (store brand here) twin blade disposables work well....I shudder when I look at the blades at say some of the Dollar Stores lol. "Super-Max"...I am not THAT desperate ....yet...

Get a hald decent brush. You don't have to do that stupid hand lather thing... And you will use about 1/5 of the soap you applied, and the lather will be well hydrated and good for a change.

Milan Donic thanks for the advice, i have a brush and this hand method I prefer. The soap lasts so long as it is, making it last 5 x longer is not the biggest issue.

A brush help you exfoliate your skin especially a good Badger brush.

So glad I switched to a DE safety razor, watching you hack away with that nasty cartridge jobbie gave me nightmares! The palmolive shavestick is fantastic value though, should have a place in every mans shave den.

Craig Simpson Shave stick is great. If you think I was hacking at my face then it shows how well the razor did to do such a good shave despite my technique 😉

Shave UK - Reviews Lol! No denying it got you clean, after my initial outlay for razor, brush, blades & soap (including Palmolive 😁) and learning the technique my average shave costs about 4p or less.
