What i love about Paloma is the fact that she like few other artists can record an album and sound stunning then go out and perform live and sound just like she does on her album. Her voice is unique and has it's own special thing about it. She must put time and lots of effort to writing these lyrics as they are always perfect and meaningful. you go Paloma! When people ask me "How are you?" I think Do you want the truth or something beautiful? If/When I tell them the truth it usually ends the conversation and they do their best to get away. So, I guess people want you to tell them something beautiful. "I'm sensational" thanks. "I'm good thanks" I am happy to deceive. I have MS and 'sensational' is my word for my symptoms.

My contention is that she should not be or say she is "happy to deceive." The whole music industry seems to offer this facade and even show it is a facade while doing so. That's sad. Truth is worthy dying for but usually that's what it takes to bring it out.

I was in the music video for this as an extra! it was a super long evening in a freezing cold church hall in the arse end of Mitcham but an absolutely fascinating experience watching the filming process - I loved her music before but had so much respect for her and the dancers doing it over and over and over and over. Those two dancers and Paloma were all in platform stilettos for hours and didn't stop except for a quick pizza break when Paloma came over and chatted to us. She was absolutely lovely and down to earth and I was so happy for her that her career really took off shortly afterwards cos she deserved it. Some boyband turned up to show their support that the other extras got giddy over - I think they were called JLS.. they were pretty big at the time but not my kind of music so I had no clue who any of them were but they were nice guys. I can see my red hair glowing in the lights in the audience LOL First time i've seen this in over a decade, because I'm filling out my application for drama school and they asked about relevent experience and thought I'd look this up. Nice little stroll down memory lane.

found this on a poetry website....This love poem is a knock on the heart for genuine love albeit false pretences and luring words. The poet explains to her lover that she is ready to be and do whatever her lover wishes for, whether it is lies or secrets.
