Best Interior - Fruit Most Practical/Pal Friendly - Blue Most Unique decorations - Joey Best Exterior - Rhab

This is giving me Rust base building vibes, especially with Blue (which I will die on a hill defending it as the best video series in all of RU-vid btw)

The Sweetshop bait and switch was legendary. Its so funny how Joey & Rhab didnt see it coming even with Blue calling the bluff every 5 min. Gotta give Joey props on that monument of a ziggurat, beautiful. A rare About Time W for sure lmao

Pretty tough to decide, honestly! They all go hard in one way or another. My opinions: - Ram Ranch makes nice use of asymmetry in the main building, but it's just too small. The ranch itself also definitely could've been decorated more with smaller builds, like a roofed stable and various facilities. - The Aboutimeziggurat strikes the best balance between looks and practicality. The walkable outer walls and towers are both awesome looking and useful, and the inner courtyard is spacious enough while still feeling like the inside of the base (contrary to the ranch). While the interior is still quite empty, I feel it has the most potential out of them (especially after Joey unlocks more stuff). As a side note, the location on the cliff face is perfect for it. - The Temple of Time has the best exterior architecture, but feels a bit like a movie set due to its thin outer walls and packed footprint. Also, a bit too samey looking for my liking on the interior side, but that could very much be improved by putting in walls for room separation and more decoration. - Sweet Shop has the best interior by far, and is the only one leaving enough room for the pals to actually work inside with the huge metal room. But the facade and roof really needs quite a bit more work to look good from all sides. Overall, my vote goes to Joey. It is already very scenic, and I feel he will need the least amount of changes/improvements to reach the peak of his base idea.

I love Fruit and Rhab's competing design philosophies- Rhab puts his sniper windows facing out, and Fruit puts his facing in.

Joey's ziggurat and aPALbees were pure genius. What a creative powerhouse!

Joey’s and Rhab’s both have potential, but weren’t quite as complete-feeling. Rhab’s will definitely improve as he furnishes and adds the pals. Joey’s probably has the most potential because of the amount of space he has and the sheer number of items he’ll unlock later. Blue’s was cozy and unique, but it felt a little small for the actual building and the workbench area felt a bit clustered. Fruit’s exterior needs some work, but the vibe, concept, and idea all landed imo. Once it has the completed sweatshop inside and all the benches/resources/beds down, it’ll be great. Conclusion: Fruit has my vote, but it was very close with Joey’s

Love the total contrast of Blue's happy pal ranch, and Fruit's "sweet" shop. It is nuts that you can do such diverse things in the same game.

I'll be honest, Joey's ziggurat was really cool. I like that vibe. Rhab's have me Castlevania vibes which I also loved. Fruit's was insanely thematic, well executed.

Man, all of them actually went so hard on it. Blue's felt like a tropical resort; Joey and Rob had amazing outside builds : both unique and almost mystical; and Mr. Fruit with his thematic prime interior and secret basement. I actually can't pick a winner. The four bases should be merged into one with all these features. Hats off guys

I predicted a human zoo and got a secret sweatshop. I am not disappointed. You got my vote on the basis of sheer efficiency. You are basically Hank Scorpio. Friendly guy with a wholesome business built on a shady and illicit foundation.

It is hard to choose a base when all of them are so cool in their own way! Blue’s is wholesome and has a nice scenery/interior, Joey’s has a cool Aztec looking vibe to it, Rob’s is a sick looking castle, and Mr. Fruit’s is a deceptively amazing business. I love them all!

All im saying is the ziggurat with blues furnishings, leading up to rob's castle, would go hard. (All funding and resources all from the sweet shop "revenues")

Seeing them still not being in the same guild, and therefore not able to share resources, or even res each other confuses me so very hard.

Visually I think Joey took this one but I’m a writer so narrative it what wins things for me. For that reason Fruit gets my vote just because the narrative of the tavern/inn being a front for a pal sweat shop is hilarious and you went all out on it. The observation deck was a particularly good touch. Now you need to catch more syndicate thugs so you can have armed guards walking the observation deck.

Joey's ziggurat is great. Rhab's definitely feels like Bowzer's castle. Blue's is really well planned out for the Pals. Fruit's... the tavern and accomodations for visitors was really great. The reaction to the "Sweet Shop" I almost woke up my wife laughing at the Hunger Games observation windows.

Exterior wise Joey won. Interior wise Fruit won by landslide. Also, the concept of an underground business below an inn/tavern brings icing on the cake. So for me Fruit won on this competition.

Given the tools at the disposal of all the builders I have to say that Joey likely made the best base at this stage since it strikes the best balance between presentation and practicality. I like the vibe of Blu’s base the most but it’s too small imo and most of the production is outside, I think Blu’s base needs more stations and more fences to give it that Ranch feel. Rhab’s base has the best exterior but the weakest interior and def needs more work. While Fruit definitely has the best conceptual base as the Tavern aesthetic serves as a front to the basement and production Sweat Shop A+ for concept, the exterior leaves a lot to be desired tho, although the layout is already really good and I think Fruit will have the best looking base once there all finished. Final Rankings: 1. Joey 2. Fruit 3. Blu 4. Rhab

I was between Joey and Fruit for voting…. Joey’s base is so well built but small in terms of where people could stay. Fruits doesn’t look as pretty from the outside, but has all the facilities and room for people to commune. And I trust that Fruit can fix the exterior, which gave my vote to fruits base.

I don't have anything other than stone walls protecting my base, but there's a reason for that. Pals don't need to have much other than work while players only need one floor, one roof, and one wall two beds can fit too. All resources go into gear and future upgrades.

Sweetshop is the best imo. Looks great inside, has a funny theme, and efficiency. As long as you spruce up the outside I thinks it will be the perfect base.

All the bases were amazingly well done, but me being a guy who loves castles and the legend of zelda i had to vote for rhabs. the whole castle asthetic was just amazing and also how he kept calling it the temple of time really made me love the design more. Yours was a close second tho the tavern and sweatshop was made so well. it honestly made it a hard choice. amazing work guys!

Put the Temple of Time around Sweetshop and you've got the ultimate castle with dungeon. Keep the Ziggurat as a temple and Ram Ranch as a vacation getaway and you've got it made.

I've been waiting for the BBC video ever since watching it on stream! Edit: I loved all of them, but I liked Blue's the most. The concept of a ranch in a base building competition seems so unique, and I also like the positive vibes that his base has.

Fruits intrusive thoughts had me falling off my chair from laughter. I do think that Rhab and Blue's base are my top two. They equally are my favorites!

I saw the Ram Ranch and thought “oh, this is cute. I really like this. It’s going to be hard to beat!” Then I saw the AbouTimeZiggarat and was unimpressed until I saw it from the right angle and was like “oh wow, this is actually really cool! Could use some furnishings though.” Then I took a stroll over through the Temple of Time and while the structure was extremely impressive (though slightly less so than the ziggarat), the interior was heavily lacking in both warmth and productivity. Then I saw the Sweetshop. WOW. Top tier Palworld right there.

So fun to see all the different base ideas. Everyone did a great job!

I loved Mr. Fruit's execution, but Joey's was my favorite to look at and probably live in--even if A Palbee's is an atrocity that belongs behind locked doors.

As far as I've found the no walls or floors placing everything on ground is the best base, when you're raided, they need to get in and your pals need to get outside, the wood might not last 1 raid. Blue definitely has the best practically

I'd say Fruit takes the cake here. Not only did he make the best use of his time to create something truly complete that makes the biggest impact, he also ended up creating an entire experience for any adventurer visiting his base for the first time. Not that the other builds didn't have the "wow" factor but you know what I mean. I quite liked the home next to nature theme, and I loved how cozy it is, just like a chill farming sim game. Harmony & friendliness. The castle build one was very aesthetically pleasing. It was very successful in that sense, and the architect really turned his constraints into something creative, and the design was actually both visually impressive and practical. It's nowhere near complete yet, but still very well done, and you could imagine the potential there. And yet, when it came to Fruit's build, he just went in from the complete opposite direction. And the fact that the exterior sucked made it even more funny, and it worked to lower the expectations, leading to the big reveal. And indeed, the contrast between the exterior and interior is so big that it feels like everything else was building up to it. It's got such an extreme idea and he managed to take it very far in its execution. It's nasty, it's scary, and it's also pretty funny. The whole time I watched the tour through the building and basement, I kept thinking, if the equivalent of Team Rocket existed in Palworld, this is what one of their "secret lairs" would look like. It's got such a sinister, international crime syndicate take on the whole thing. It's a straight up criminal organization, disguised and hidden in plain sight. It's also a very well organized one. It's efficient at the same time as it is ruthless, and that is such a thing of beauty in and of itself. Imagine this: You walk up to a building, and it's a pretty ordinary looking, if not straight up a little boring establishment, from pretty much any angle save for the front. Still, not impressive, but we'll see. Take a step inside and you begin to understand why: The effort was simply directed elsewhere. You're greeted with an actual living space, filled with furniture and is actually well-decorated, sets of tables and chairs all around the room, with little adornments and attention to detail, turning the space into a nice looking, well lit tavern with a cozy feel. I you feel like you could actually just step in there and fit right in. This must be home to the adventurer and their friends, where everyone gathers 'round, eating, drinking, and tell stories, or listen to a bard singing while playing some instruments. That's already plenty impressive in itself, but there's even more to see. You walk upstairs, and see all the nice hotel-quality rooms that guests could rest in. Oh and did anyone mention this fine establishment even has a dedicated, actual toilet, complete with bathtub and sink? And each guest room has you feeling like you're playing a combination of both The Sims and Skyrim? Just, lovely. This, this is an actual experience. And just when you were still admiring the beautiful and fun living spaces, you had a realization. You're in Palworld, the world of pals. Wait... where are the pals? Then it dawns on you and you go and find out the secret. Horror and hilarity ensure. To be fair, there is at least the possibility that I may be a little biased here from watching the video-since Fruit did edit the video himself, and there's plenty of chances to frame things in a certain way that maybe favors him a little-but I just don't feel like that's the case. And even if he did manage to do that, that'd be quite a feat in itself, and he deserves something in exchange for this amazing piece of work. Maybe a pat on the back, or a vote. Not to mention, to be totally fair, Fruit WAS the person who managed to catch the shiny, er, "lucky" pal. The other guys have nothing to lose here, so if anything, at least one of them must clearly stand out and make a major impression on everyone to win the prize. And guess who successfully made the most impact here? No doubt it's Fruit. Fruit's build wins hands down. Asking us to vote is just him being nice to his friends. And I get it, they're cool people too, but c'mon.

I've watched Fruit since Destiny (how I found the channel) (holy it's been 10 years I feel so old) and the comedy is what kept me. And Fruit's base just screams every reason I love watching him. I do miss every video having me holding my sides laughing (Like the Pokewatch series) but at the same time it makes moments like that even better.

Rhabb doing his best Diglett impression is definitely a highlight.
