the one caveat is that caught legendary pals have way more HP than bred versions. If you can manage to capture one with BiS traits, that would be far superior to the bred version. Although, I've noticed that sometimes the Alpha versions get confused/useless sometimes during fights... Not sure if this has to do with their larger size...so that's a tradeoff. But we're talking like 3x the HP in some cases, so... yeah. but otherwise yes, agreed.
Randomly found a huge dragon egg around level 18. Hatched a jormuntide ignis and that thing stayed in my party up until level 50. It's just ridiculous how useful it is especially considering how early you can get it
I can't stand jormuntides loved caught the Alpha jormuntides and after a week I threw it in the box and haven't took it out since a rank 4 ability isn't worth much if it can't go 5mins without getting stuck for no apparent reason. At times I used to find mine outside the boundary lines of my base stuck at the top of a tree. Replaced his has with reptyro and never looked back
I've watched 3 of your breeding videos and as a newish player the thing that held me up the most was learning how to place pals inside the breeding farm. Get close to them and lift them up. You can directly place the pal in your arm into the farm.
I'm rather certain it's a Jormuntide Ignis guarantee when finding one on mount obsidian. I'm pretty sure, could be wrong, but I've only ever gotten those from the huge dragon egg world finds.
Yes it is guaranteed and it is the best way to get strong fast though breeding. Going from level 20 to 40 takes way longer compared to going to the volcano area once in a while. If you want to save time I recommend going at least to the Ruined Fortress City. It takes like a couple minutes to scan the area there for eggs. In the volcano area you can also find large eggs which can contain lvl 3 kindling pals. So it is definitly worth to go there early. Otherwise you will be stuck with lvl 2 kindling pals for a long time and breeding is practicaly not worth it at that point.

I think I'm just unlucky, trying to get the ultimate shadowbeak like you did... kitsun with ferocious and musclehead, with astegon- lord of underworld and legend. first 5, I got 2 shadowbeaks with all the passives but they had low attack stat so kept tryin... after that it's literally been 17 now with only 1 of 2 of the passives I need... how unlucky is that rip
Breeding broke me. Done with the game until they tighten up Breeding. If both parents have serious, and artisan, the child should be near 100% to get those. Hatched so many eggs, so many... I can't do it anymore.
You're not wrong! I'm sure they will make this game better. Remember it's still a pre-release with a ton of bugs. Try to have fun with it until the round off some of the edges. Thanks for watching!

You can breed blazamut and shadowbeak to get Suzaku Then breed that Suzaku with Jormuntide to get Suzaku Aqua Then breed that Suzaku aqua with blazamut to get blazamut If you do this you can pass the passives from shadowbeak over to blazamut
10:50 don't you want to make on that can pass down Lucky without Destructive and then use that one with Lucky as a stem? By the way, is this how women choose their mate... for what I don't, they want to choose "Destructive" or "Somebody who treats them bad", over ones that do not have negative traits
What are the odds an undesired passive dropping off or being effectively removed through breeding? Just started breeding and I bread a blank shadow beak with victors shadow beak after countless breedings I finally got a shadow beak with victors specific attack dark whisp but it came out with the positive thinker passive, is any hope for it being replaced with a better passive or do I go to square 1?? 😞
I got a question is it better to catch the pal you want a 4 out of 4 or just breed it because the status of the breed one is all ways lower then the boss you catch like jet dragon just wondering
One more tip, it was recently discovered that it's actually best to have one pal with TWO of the desired skills and one pet with the OTHER TWO desired passive skills rather than a pet with 3 and a pet with 1, or even a pet with all 4 and a pet with none, a parent will only ever transfer two passives maximum like 90 percent of the time.
