People making skins are not in the same group as devs fixing bugs. 2 different departments in the company.

​@@preemptivefaceplant5277 Not arguing your point at all, but I think the issue is when companies put more money into the "In-game purchase team" rather than the Dev team. When you have more people adding more codes "things to buy" and fewer people trying to fix code issues...That sucks, lol.

@@banjo-kazooie9717 Though sometimes that isn't really by choice. People qualified to work for you and willing to work for you don't just grow on trees. And even taking Palworld as an example, assuming they'd use the success to get new devs with increased salaries, those would need to be incorporated as well, and as such aren't effectivly usable for probably at least a quarter of a year, depending on code complexity. And sadly, economically speaking creating "things to buy" rather than "fixing things" is the better approach. Not that I want to disagree with you, but sometimes the "reality of things" and "what we would like" are quite at odds. I had that issue at my old workplace, 7 devs for a business software that could at least used 20 by scope. They looked for new devs, but considering the code was in Pascal, finding people wasn't that easy for the team leader. And since it is more lucrative to add new things to sell to more people rather than fixing things that apply to just a handful of customers, the available time was slotted more to new features rather than fixing issues by management on top.

Yeah. If they can't keep the pals running in public servers indefinitely, they should at least keep the pals from acquiring statuses when you're away. It's hard to heal Depressed and Weakened especially early to mid game since it requires ingots, bones, and horns and are pretty expensive to make.

I'd settle with "will pause all actions and hunger if nobody is around after an hour". I'd take frequent trips to my mining bases, if it meant they won't starve and cost me thousands of gold to fix them.

Most of the cases because they are stuck. Dev should add a timer for when a working pal is pathing to their objective for way too long (maybe 3 minutes?), that pal would be respawned at the palbox. I know they have a fell off map respawn already. A timer to unstuck is practical tbh.

I mean you could take them out when your off but if you get npc raided or raided (once they add PvP) it wouldn’t be much of a fight

@@SPJ-88 It's funny on my singleplayer I have seen Pals respawning at the box a few times but most of the time they get stuck of objects, so maybe it is supposed to be a thing but it's broken right now

Yeah, it’s always the best path. Fix all the bugs you can, then add new content, then fix all the new bugs. Hopefully when they can hire more staff they will be able to reduce the new bugs added with each update, and get fixes rolled out faster while still having staff available to make new content.

I’m falling through the map and that the textures don’t load in at all you would think they would prioritize this

@@hatdownlowofficial it might be something that will be an ongoing thing until the game is out of the pre-release phase, like a server issue, or an optimisation issue. Hopefully Microsoft are going to start helping them with that for the Xbox version. It would be a good move, seeing as it’s brought a lot of players to playpass, and is basically a Microsoft exclusive at the moment seeing as it’s basically only on windows/xbox.

Not gonna lie, you had me in the first half. God, I've been too conditioned to expect the worst from game devs...

They fix like 3 bugs a week I would hardly call this revolutionary. It took 3 weeks to fix the capture rate bug. It's fine to be a fun game but don't act they are doing things different lol.

@@KiteVtuberDefender fixing bugs in code is like finding cures to viruses, you could get lucky and find the lynchpin in the code/rna to fix the issue immediately or you could be diligently hunting for a long without results

I think that is caused by loading errors, where it fails to load all the terrain. I seem to get it less often if I clear the cache regularly, although I’m on Xbox so annoyingly it requires a system restart…

only happened to me trying to join fast in my dedicated server while it was starting

@@killuad0 I get it all the time on the Xbox playing solo, but it reminds me of similar glitches from other games that were happening when the cache gets full. If you’re only getting it when playing online then it sounds like it IS a loading error where it fails to load all the terrain assets. Annoyingly fast travelling away and then back doesn’t seem to help, so I’m not sure if there is a work-around to use until they fix it properly…

Yes I get that and the pals never fight during a battle until I switch out a different it's like a roulette game trying to find one to fight lol

@@xxthatguy818xx9 you haven’t accidentally ordered your pals to not attack have you? I did that when I first started playing and didn’t realise until I saw a streamer playing it and realised you can toggle attacking on/off 😂 Also didn’t notice there is a quick stack button for storage boxes until I read about it in a comment. I wasted so much time moving resources individually 😩

Great patch. Just want one more super annoying issue patched asap, I can deal with all the other small issues... I want my pals to stop getting stuck In walls, under floor, or inside cliffs. I hate being forced to build bases on 100% flat ground away from cliffsides or giant rocks. Every time I go back to my base... at least one or all my flying mounts are stuck inside the cliff

@@Geometric_Atom It's a problem with raids too, you become unraidable to all but the flying raids but that's no fun. Even if there's definitely a way to your base, they still always seem to get stuck somewhere if you're not in an open field. As an open field enjoyer it's not too bad for me, but I would like more options. I also wish my pals would stop getting stuck on my workbenches and such.

I put them in another room and when I need stone or wood i open the door and they run to it.. lol

I recommend rushing base level 10 and making a separate base just for ore and coal, they'll only mine the coal with level 3 mining and the ore with level 2 so Damud/Tombat and Digtoise should be the majority of the residents at first

@@profanegunman7586 have they fixed digtoise? I thought they were bugged so they only deal 1 damage when mining at a base?

@mormor756 I hope so too! I've thought about that one as well because I had stone pit set up. So I could build the base with it. They would all just go there instead of the ore nodes. So once I had enough stone, I took it down. Need more? Put it back... 😑

@@glawenclattuc3127 Mine are doing rapid 2s and 3s to coal, but they seem to be keeping up with the Damuds mining their ore. They get the job done and the coal isn't important until later anyway, I only said Digtoise because from what I can see it's the easiest level 3 miner to get for when you've just reached base level 10 from scratch. By the time you reach the refined ingot stage you'll have a nice chunk of coal and most likely the means to replace them.

I've had that problem too, most notably I remember trying to catch relaxaurus lux and he just ascended through the wall as I was trying to catch him XD

Pals are programmed to transport to the nearest chest, the simple work around I've found is splitting stacks of the items I want stored in it to fill all empty spots or put another item of no care.

you can use Cotton candy to fill up the chest so that each chest is reserved to the ressource you chose and pals will bring stuff accordingly

@Willow4526 bullshit! They've gone out of their way to put stone in a chest as far away from the stone pit as possible. When the shipping container RIGHT NEXT TO IT already has a stack of a thousand in it!!

I actually went under the world to see if I could buy from the merchants but they could not be interacted with. However, I was able to shoot and capture them and now am able to buy their stuff at my base.

Some pal breeds will be almost impossible to catch without the ultra or legendary. Are you damaging the low level pals before trying to capture them? And have you raised out your capture power? With the effigies?

@@chuckles9767 yeah, I know. But I’ve had my capture rate maxed and haven’t really had a problem. But it is also coded so that higher rarity pals can only be caught with higher rarity spheres. For example, the legendary pals can only be caught with legendary spheres. Also, don’t forget you can buy a lot of the crafting materials instead of having to grind pals for them. Set up an ore mining base and then craft and sell nails for efficient money grinding.

​@@chuckles9767 oh the paldium merchant is the random merchant that visits your base seemingly only once. BUT(!!!!) he seems to spawn consistently with his 2 guards on the beach near anubis just north east of the syndicate base there! And less often i find him near the world boss sweepa. Get on it! Second best early red coat merchant to cap. First is one of the mega ball merchants from the desert town or fisherman's village. And that's probably the point you want to catch a green coat ammo merchant too if you haven't already

Same! It’s really made me lose interest in playing anymore. I have been having it since a few days after launch. The fact that it’s still not fixed in this patch either is sad. I just tried and got error 2 minutes in. Even if i wait on it to go away it still reappears same play though or the next.

@@MajorChipHazard316 Yep, same here. And PalWorld is such a good game otherwise that it has this effect on me where if other games don't feel the same or play close to it, I'm not even interested. I used to be all over the map when it came to games and now I can't even pick anything else up, it's just not the same

@@JoseISuppose right. There isn’t much out rn so to have one of the good games so far not working well is a shame. Hopefully before March they fix this issue otherwise I’ll probably move on as March seems to be having good releases.

That’s so true my 3 Anubis pals stay stuck on the mining and barley ever come and do handy work I literally have to throw them manually to get them to work and I can’t catch barley any pals now I’m level 48 and can’t catch shiiiiiiiiiiittttttt

Top right corner of the pall box there is an option to sort the palbox in different ways. Like paldeck number or level etc.

It was actually doing worst, it was decreasing catch rates so glad they fixed it

Went to the sanctuary and tried it out just now. I was catching LVL 45 s with two or three ultra balls. So much better. It was taking 10 or 15 before on some.

@@axelarnaud7547 the bug was you'd see bigger percentages because of your effigy level, but in practice the old base percentages were still applied so you weren't really doing worst, the percentage was just lying

I'm having this issue with the bonus of when I box them it still shows them frozen in the place they froze in even though they aren't even at base anymore. Super weird

Did you find out if it stopped hackers?

Hopefully that's what they meant in the corrupted save portion? I'm in the same situation

@@AnthonyBrown-gt4tn i think it has something to do with he 20 pals (10 on two bases) and then I got all over the map killing it catching everything I can see 💀 game just can’t keep up are crashed even after it’s final update I expect just a little better but not too much from unreal engine

i never crashed so maybe its system dependent, but send to they yours feedback with your system specs and examples, who knows xd

It may be because of how many pals you can put in the viewing cage, they overflow at a point so as to not glitch them horribly it doesn't let you like, put a lid on it

If not, Reptyro is also lvl3 mining.

Shouldn't matter, it just probably mean now your Effigy *level* will be included in the calculation as they should

Give ALL the mounts a God damn speed buff. I don't like being able to glide faster than my pals.

Just breed a speed buff on them. My Fengelope double jumps across the map so fast it doesn't render items at times.@@Gr3nadgr3gory

@@Gr3nadgr3gory have you bred a mount with swift+runner? It makes a big difference. The mounts that need epic saddles to ride seem significantly faster than the lower tier mounts too.

If you have a shiny or dungeon eikthyrdeer its honestly the best mount choice anyways. The larger the mount, the more distance it can cover, eikyhyrdeer has a really low cooldown charge and can double jump, makes almost all the other mounts feel useless.

@@switchactions3184 Fenglope is basically the same, but has a higher base speed because it’s a higher tier pal. Breeding one with swift and/or runner does make a huge difference. You can also try breeding the legendary perk onto a good mount once you can catch legendaries. You can get a total of +65% speed if you can get all 3 perks onto a good mount, which is pretty huge but can take a lot of effort if you’re unlucky with your breeding.

If it's a personal server, loading into in single player mode first and then switching to multiplayer has been a reliable workaround for us

@@TheTexasKiwiSmall addendum to this. You have to MOVE a bit, it’s not enough to just launch the world and exit back out immediately. Idk why, but that’s my own experience.

@@TheTexasKiwi yeah thats what we've been trying, but it doesn't work too much, like I said we have to swap between multiple times before it stops crashing then we can load into the one we want.

Why am i even seeing people complaining about this. Play solo, go to, or make a private server. Who cares about hackers and cheaters in a primarily pve game, the solution isn't the game devs changing shit that doesn't need too, it's not PUTTING YOURSELF in that situation. The game allows you to change nearly any world setting to make it as easy or hard as you'd like. Let the people who want no challenge be idiots between themselves

Different video I watched, which I apologize but can't remember by who, talked about the ceo speaking on server costs. In that video it was mentioned that Microsoft themselves are stepping up to help pocketpair on servers, bug fixes, as well as making it easier to push updates fir the Xbox version... so possibly soon. My guess is about a month, but do note it is just speculation on my part
