great video man, I was actually wondering about ground mounts and did not expect to see this kind of quality from a video with barely any views. You honestly deserve a lot more so keep trying! :D
Oh my friend...it...was...painful. I lost count after 500. If I had to guess, I'd say between 550-600. I was almost done editing the whole video before i finally got it lol. I got rich selling them, though.
Instant like & sub! This is fabulously organized and edited, props to you my good sir! I hope you have more video projects in mind, I’d love to see more!
gotta love our lil roadrunner Dazemu since you can get it early and get its saddle somewhat early as well at lvl22 which is quick to get too if one where to go in a catching spree making it a very good ground mount. also going beep beep when running on sand and dirt is fun
With the right perks shadowbeak or any flying mount would be better in most situations. Personally I would still take fenglope the majority of the game over most of these options because the double jump is very valuable early-mid game until you can mount faleris, ragnahawk, or beakhawk who can get places quick with a couple speed perks. Also while fenglope isnt faster than alot of mounts that ablilty where he can run faster somewhat makes up for it.
Great points. Shadowbeak is one of my favorite pals too. And that's why I like this game so much. There are lots of options that cater to various playstyles and preferences.
@@Symoh1 To be honest I think the best choice is Pyrin because it has the most valuable type. (Not Pyrin Noct since having the fire element attacks is much more important than dark)
@@M2JoyBoy I can see that. And I'm sure others will make a case for a different pal being the best choice. Despite its weaknesses I'm standing by the electric good boy as my favorite in the group lol
hey! love your dedication, can i suggest a video to explain efficienci and producvtivy(focus early, mid, and end game), and please include size pal like glitchjourmuntine, somo tips to fix this
Hi! I'm actually working on a video right now that covers some of the things you mentioned. I should have it out later this week. As for Jormuntide, I would say design the base with their size in mind. I try to keep the pal beds close to the plantations with minimal obstacles. If you do a roof/ceiling, stack 3-4 pillars first to have lots of head room. Since the game is still in early access, we'll likely have lots of weird issues like this. Hopefully they'll fix it eventually.
@Symoh1 An early base running with the best starter pals is kinda what I'm thinking. Maybe a starter combat pal team to take on the first tower boss/alpha pals, too, if possible. Ty.
That was intentional. If you notice, I did that on everyone to remove the human variance of me controlling the stamina bar accurately on every pal. I was trying to focus on a lot of things when recording the races and kept forgetting to sprint sometimes.
Great vid, I just use a Pyrin Noct for dungeons with swift, legend, musclehead and Serenity. I'd use a non alpha frostallion noct but it gets stuck on some doors and pyrin just sprints through everything
Not bad. Very useful information for comparison! But how do I understand that some did not make it into the list (like chillet, shroomer, arsox, mammorest, grintale etc.) because they did not even make it into the top 5 by any categorys? Unless I missed something.
Honestly, for me, speed and utility were big factors. The ones you mentioned and many others are useful in their own ways, but they're slow and don't provide great utility like Kitsun.
If this video was categorised into early, mid and end then why kick out Elkthideer? Early game sprint can only last so long but Elkthideer has a built in skill you can use to make it sprint again even when it's out of stamina which you completely overlooked by saying its not worth looking at. In a straight race, deer wins.
I agree, but only if that race is in a flat open area with no obstacles and no turns. And that's not good enough. The reason I called it a disappointment is because I really like Eikthyrdeer, but that giant hit box is a deal breaker for me. Hopefully, they can fix that, and this becomes a solid early game pick.
I'm not sure that's entirely true. You could use the mounts stamina for sections that require a few more turns then use the skill as a kind of nitro booster when you get to a longer straight section. The race circuit you set up had some straight sections long enough to accommodate the boost distance and honestly, when you're using a mount to get from point A to point B in game, you're gonna take the most direct route, ie the straight one, to get there. Probably why once I unlocked the ability to use Nightwing I gave up on ground mounts that are just rides. I have Mossanda and Grizzbolt in my team and although to use their weapons you need to ride them, it's because those weapons are so good they are good mounts, not because I want to get from A to B faster.
