When action movies were really exciting and bold, violent and satisfyingly brainless, and we had these heroines, strong but amazingly feminine...not like nowadays. We could say it's a good mixture of Escape from LA, Last Man Standing and Nikita. Honestly, between Pamela Anderson's Barb Wire and Margot Robbie's Barbie, who you choose?
@@JayHarangue The most incredible thing is Pamela Anderson gave absolutely everything for this movie, and yet accepted that maybe no one would like it. It was a really bad production, her stolen sex videotape was already everywhere, her connection with Playboy...and nobody liked the director David Hogan, who was a last second replacement. Nothing was ready for a success...and it wasn't. But she believed in herself and never gave up because the words of others. Anderson fought till the end...unfortunately luck was never on her side😓
I love this movie. I think this is the movie I've seen the most since the 90's :D She looks perfect, the fights are cool.. I am aware it's subjective and there are people who think everything should live up to their impossible high standard. Well tough life for you people. Much more fun when you lower your standard.
Hey, I’ve watched HUNDREDS of Lifetime movies and I really enjoy most of them. I have NO standards. 😂 I know a lot of people like this movie. It’s certainly fun. Thanks for watching.
So...the opening scene was Barb being undercover as a stripper. Got it....I never got passed the opening scene. Could never follow the plot. Wasnt aware there was one. Thanks for telling me what it was. Glad I didnt miss much.
Film is bonkers and let's face it, only reason it was worth watching for back in the day was to hopefully get a peek at Pam lmao. Another stellar video good sir, your commentary always has me rolling! lmao 🤣👍
Thanks so much. Glad I bring a bit of fun to people’s lives once or twice a week. I checked out some of your videos the other day. I’ve never owned or wanted action figures but you had me going to the NECA website. 🤣
The film called barb wire that came out in 1996 is about a sexy nightclub owner, barb wire moonlights as a mercenary in steel harbor, one of the last free zones in the fascist United States.
I hate my fellow Barb Wire comic fans who absolutely killed this movie and then we didn't get any more. Look at Spiderman 1 wasn't very good, look at Fellowship Of The Rings, wasn't very good. Look at X-MEN 1 wasn't very good. This movie was great but in the same vane as this others and their origin movies. There should of been more. First time I saw Pammie, I thought Barb Wire. It's a shame this ended with this one.
That’s an unusual opinion. A lot of people like the first Toby McGuire Spider-Man and it seems everyone liked the first Peter Jackson LOTR. X-men, I think most comic fans would agree with you.
