Hey Jon, amazing playthrough as always! You've definitely sparked my interest in this game! One small note: at 1:03:38 it looks like you accidentally counted the yellow player's remote income as $1 instead of $0
Much of the electricity in Uruguay and nearby countries is generated by hydroelectric power. As far as green power options, hydro is a lot more useful than wind power in that it can be stored for times of peak demand - water can be dammed up for use later, wind cannot. Wind generation is a nice thought, but it's not as much of a panacea as many people think it is... I look forward to learning about the game though!
Actually the 1-2-3 spots on player boards do not correspond each to one of the actions. They just track how many action each player has already taken. All three spots refer to any of the three possible actions. That’s why the first icon in consolidation phase shows the players retrieving the three action discs from all three action spots. All players will always end up covering all three spots at the end of the action phase.
Hey Jon, great video kind sir!! love these, you are the best tutorial channel out there imo. i do have a request/question. would you ever consider doing tutorials on solo modes for the more complicated AI's? i think it would be very helpful to a lot of people and a great addition of content for the channel. i do understand its not your favorite mode of gaming just thought id throw it out there. have a great day of gaming!
At this point I haven't really considered doing solo mod playthrus. Honestly, I personally don't have interest in solo board gaming and that's been the main thing that has kept me from exploring that path for a video.
Correction to the correction: Around 18:50 there's a correction text that says electrical towers don't show which income you can take. They DO show which income you can take, just not in the way the video says. See Income Thresholds, page 15: "An income marker may not cross an income threshold that has not been unlocked. ..."
you collect every possible scoring opportunity before paying your investors, in any case, you just end up with $0. So far the lowest ever score, which I know, is around $40. Let me know if you break that record! Thanks for the interest!
