In addition to what we were in the past, I feel that Pan Africanism is also about what we can become in terms of self awareness and quality of life

PanAfrican is embracing and appreciating the concept of what our ancestors fought and died for and using these sacrifices to advance that course for the benefits of Africans. Be vigilant. The struggle continues!

The struggle is real! When Mr. Yankah mentions the lack of geographical knowledge among many living there on THE continent I fully understand on a personal level. I was speaking with one particular brother in Cape Town SA about my visit to Ghana and he actually had surprisingly little knowledge of it or its location. Of course I was a little shocked and tried to consider that this individual may be on the fringe of the population in terms of educational or socio-economical access.

Education and access to information play a big role.

@@theealfahouse yes and i would like to mention that the individual didn’t come off as unintelligent at all. I have no idea of his schooling but he did have a definite opinion of his nation’s political history post-apartheid 1994 and thereafter. and he definitely had a unique understanding , at least for me, of certain events and roles played by leaders who had been regaled as Iconic / heroic from a western media education perspective. So it’s not only continental Africans that are being miseducated. I guess it really does “take one to know one” as that old adage goes.

Africa Our Africa - Sharing, An African Cannot Go Hungry In Africa. This Is Just A Period Of Introspection. A Test. The Time When The Earth Is spewing ( vomiting ) Up. The Time When The Land Is Purifying Itself, Removing The Bad From Good. The Enemy Will Run. Africa Shall Prevail. The Journey May Not Seem Easy, We Are Getting There. And The Signs Are There

It's interesting to consider the historical context of nation states and how they have evolved over time.
