I was watching the Criterion version on my OLED, but the raised black levels were distracting. Does the 4K actually have deep blacks, or are they still raised?
@ if you really love this film then I strongly reccomend picking up the 4k set from Korea.. its around £40 or $50 dollars and its a really beautiful set. The disc may not have many special features though it comes with a really nice poster, concept art book and picture cards. The box art work and is also very nice and the 4k presentation looks nice. I would say its subtle over the criterian 1080p though its a very nice upgrade and the way to watch, if you own the criterian blu ray and just a casual fan then i would reccomend sticking with this disc. I purchased this set because I absolutely love this movie so for me personally it was worth every penny. :)
