Absolutely amazing! "And it is said that the Princess returned to her father's kingdom. That she reigned there with justice and a kind heart for many centuries. That she was loved by her people. And that she left behind small traces of her time on Earth, visible only to those who know where to look".
My 8 month old has trouble falling asleep. This soothes him so quickly and he has me play it on repeat. Thankfully this is absolutely beautiful so I don't mind. I love your music.
@@lianasoares8052 Lol...Um. Her voice is, YES. But her lyrics...? Um no. So I hope they uh, don't understand what she's actually singing about then... (Lana Del Rey)
I adore ur music and miss you posting 😢. You helped cure insomnia so many times when I would end up starting at the ceiling for hours before I found your page.thank you so much for making ur music and hope that you know that you are appreciated wherever you are
@@todoku8257 ... Anybody who's actually read the myths? Or, alternatively, why would I want to be a wizard in a fairytale land when I, a poor man born of poor people, still sleep in a bed as soft as moss, lined with cotton and silks? When water as fresh as that of any mountain spring is available at the turning of a tap, ice cold or piping hot whether in the heat of summer or the depth of winter? When I can purchase delicacies from all across the world for pocket change, and keep them in cooled boxes which keep them fresh for weeks on end? When at a whim I can watch the greatest actors put on any performance which comes to mind, or listen to great orchestras perform the most magnificent of symphonies, or plunge myself into a fairytale as fantastic and engaging as any story without any of the risk? If I want to see mystic forests, I can for but a few days earnings fly across the world to visit ancient woods, towering rainforests, or mysterious marshlands. We _live_ in the most fantastic wonderland ever to have existed upon this earth, and it is all too easy to take it for granted.
@@Siathuan I fear if you don't understand it isn't something that can be explained. The sense of wonder that the idea of magic brings isn't something that can replicate with science. You can come close definitely but you will never reach the same feeling. Because science inherently functions by using physics and natural laws of reality. Magic is something that defies those laws. It is, by it's very conceptual nature, more than we can experience with just machines and wit. The allure of faerie song that reaches deeper than mortal ken to sing to your very soul. The wonder of glades that hold a true magic to balm away all ailments physical, mental, or emotional. These are the tales we seek to dream of because they can't be reached by efforts of science and advancement. Magic represents the impossible logic of dreams. And in a world where many feel their wonder crushed under bleak realism, those dreams are cherished.
Your music brings me back to when I thought of my life as Alice and wonderland. Where my life was gorgeous in my eyes but just to good to be true a lullaby I forced myself to live through. But it somehow brings back all the fun I had, all the times I danced barefoot in a flower field until dawn. It restores the memories that seemed so foggy and untrue and turns them into the peaceful daydream they once where...even if the flower field was a old forest that always fogged up at night it seems so much brighter now. Thank you Erutan thank you.
Pan's Labyrinth is one of my all-time favorite movies, if not my No.1 Guillermo Del Toro movie and your cover of the lullaby is just nothing short of gorgeous
WOW so hauntingly beautiful!! Your hands are so graceful as you play. Also I loved the coloring used on the video. What a wonderful treat on Halloween! :)
I just love your songs and your voice. Please, you need to sing Hanging Tree from Hunger Games Mocking Jay Pt1. It would be delightful to hear this little song on your voice! Thanks Kate, for all your work!
I am so in love with this. I usually stay away from covers and mixes like this but....wow! I love how you made it into a full song and were able to keep the softness and yet haunting tone as set in the movie. Brava! I will be looking into your other vids. Oh and I agree...Narnia lullaby is a must!
Hello Kate, do you know about the Kingkiller Chronicles? It's a fantasy book series about a bard. The world and the magic in it is expansive and it has a lot of music in it. Sadly, it's all written. Maybe someday if you read it you could do music from the book? Just putting it out there, I love your work and I feel like your style would fit it to a T.
Lovely! I remember the first time I ever heard this song in the movie because I thought it was sokoto creepy that I knew the melody and I had NEVER heard it before!
Joyous Samhain to you too, Kate. It's probably been requested ever since you put that Come Little Children video up 5 years ago, to the day. I still listen to that song (It never gets old.), and I love this one too.
YOU LIVE!! Alright, I know that is obvious, life is busy and you can't post, I just have missed you greatly! I think my flatmates have really gotten sick to death of me playing every other song you have uploaded a million times over that they have empty threatened to kick me out if I didn't stop and now I can add this beautiful piece to the mix! Thank you for releasing such a beautiful piece!
Oh my god. Kate, this is absolutely beautiful. Even with your voice not being as cooperative as you'd like it to be, you still bring as much beauty and eeriness as this song originally provides - if not more! Ahhh, It's just perfect! Great job on the last minute video as well. Such a great gift you could give us on Halloween! -hugs-
Absolutely beautiful. I don,t care what anyone say,s, when i first watched Pan,s Labyrinth and heard this lullaby i sobbed, How anyone could sit and create such an emotive Lullaby that could reach hearts that have been broken so many times and remind those who,s hearts have been broken "Yes real Life maybe surreal, but dreams will always be a reality in a world filled with fantasies". 5th of June 2022
I listen to your gorgeous songs on a practically daily basis. And have been doing so for years. I don't think there is a tune, melody, or lyric that I haven't memorized. Thank you for your beautiful creations and I miss your work dearly. You are my favorite artist by far. I hope that one day I could purchase another instrumental track of yous.
Erutan... this is so amazing! I am in love with this song and the movie for so long and your version is incredible! I am happy that you are with us on youtube!
I'm really glad you've started doing videos like this; you've got a great aesthetic sense, and that really comes through. Each video is a work of art to go with your wonderful music. :)
You got such a sweet voice, have you ever mulled over the posibility to make a cover for Tears of an Angels by ryan dan or The last Unicorn by America?. I think would be really nice to hear a female cover of the magical song of the last unicorn, I never heard one. I loved this pan's cover but I wish you have used more of your beautiful voice.
Dear God, this woman’s voice is so divine, it made heart feel warm. Tears are flowing, but im not sad. These are tears of happiness. I hope you get all the happiness that you desire. Amen ❤️
it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen and heard, you are amazing and so beautiful too, I'm completly in love with this video, thank you so much!
I am overwhelmed by how lovely your voice is, slightly jealous at your ability to play multiple instruments I love, and platonically admire your natural, graceful beauty. Also, those clothes/costumes!! ❤ As always, thank you for sharing your gifts!
omg I'm soo in love with the movie! I absolutely love your work! I'm in love with this, the lullaby is just way too enchanting! Erutan always remains the best!
So I have a question? Hey guys, so been a fan of Pan Labrinth movie and songs. And Erutan has been a huge inspiration/impact on my life as well. Been wanting to learn/play different types of flutes. Admit I am avoiding the higher pitched ones though. Just going for the lower pitched/tribal sounding ones. Trying to start playing other celtic/irish/folklore type music instrumental pieces as well! So fricken excited and hyped!!! I want this to be my first piece to learn. Wondering if you guys could help me out though? :) What kind/type of flute is played in the OG Pan's Labrythn? And is it the same kind/type played by Eruthan? Just wondering. Cause it's crazy, there are soooo many types of flutes out there. So since I am new to this. Noob/beginner. I want to know. Which kind of flute would be best to start out with. Would really appreciate your guys input on this. :D
Kate - this is crying out for your lyrics. (Not the first verses, the "hoo-oo"; but the rest seems perfect for words.) It would make a good real lullaby, with the right words... I know; singing. But. About a thousand people here would contribute voices if you asked.
Oh, I am so happy you made this! The movie and especially the lullaby moves me in so many ways, and so does your arrangement! :) Beautiful and fitting footage for the theme!
Wow, this lullaby is amazing... I remember watching the Faun's Labirinth movie as a kid and just wondering why that cute melody stayed in my head for weeks later. Lovely as always, you're truly a fantasy creature :)
loved you! love you and always will... the most beautiful version i had ever heard!! so sweet for celtic babies!! mybest celtic lullaby! for inside the womb!! stories of little doors and mosses and little drops of water on a green garden!!
so funny, oh dear I can't stop chuckling ... the Yoda ears, the itty bitty antlers, the filter ... I think the music was nice ... distracted was I ....
Hi, that harp looks like a gothic harp, may I ask where did you buy it. I'm a professional concert harpist but I've always loved that kind of harp. Thank you, love your arrangements by the way :) Carlos
