Not saying Hello is kind of mean, yes. The whole thing about the kids not knowing their own ancestry is weird, especially if it's something they could be proud of.
@@freezasama5802If that was the case he be unable to visit earth according the lore in db pertaining to otherworld. He'd also have a halo. I'm guessing when He fused with shenron goku gain a semi immortality simular to roshiss.
I always thought Vegeta Jr and Goku jr saying blonde instead of super saiyan perfectly encapsulates how traditions and knowledge can get lost in newer generations.
@@RayZrAnims 1. It was a joke. Naturally neither one likely knows much of the sayian race in any detail. 2. Trunks did say that as a kid in front of Vegeta and his response was an exasperated “When did the legendary super sayian turn into….a child’s plaything???” Which IMO was hilarious.
@@tmanuel44More specifically, channeling ki to a specific point in their back, but the fandom just _loves_ to milk Cabba's stupidest dorky line for all its worth and act like there's no actual mechanic to their transformation. I will always say that Caulifla should've struggled like she did in the manga. They're not obligated to copy Goku and the U7 Saiyans, but at least have a harder time instead of getting an instant unlock.
They did Vegeta Jr. dirty, bro's a child and already has a receding hairline. 😭 Edit: Everyone keeps saying that Saiyans keep the same hair since the day they are born, but those same people forget that Vegeta Jr. is a hybrid Saiyan. 💀
The implication that the Son family and Bulma's family split apart really feels wrong. Of all of Dragon Team, Goku and Bulma were there from the beginning. The fact that Vegeta's descendant doesn't even know the term Super Saiyan in the original Japanese (yet does in Blue Water's dub for some reason) is also harsher in hindsight considering one of Vegeta's last pleas to Goku during his Namek vision was to make sure Saiyans weren't lost to the memory of time.
Who knows maybe a bit after this goku and vegeta Jr become good friends which causes pan to tell em everything from dbz and maybe some of the og db Haven't watched the end of gt yet aside from some clips
I haven’t thought it that way. It was only decades before Toriyama passed when the series and the last episode of GT came out, but it does make more sense the way you put it 🥲❤️
Not aging while all your family passes away has to be heart wrenching man i cant even imagine. Gokus odd though so hes probably the same happy go lucky self lol
@@arthurjloftonNaw that's the original Goku. He Never actually died at the end. He just grew back up to his original age since he was turned into a kid in the GT. Series
@@Gilgarth For all we know, Saiyan blood won't come with any of those human genetic issues. Saiyan genes are definitely powerful, even after all the human blood they've gotten over the generations.
@@willyates6266For real, they save the world, Goku gets to finally rip in the after life, but coming back one last time to see if great-great-grandchildren fight in a tournament like he did back in the day and letting Pan know he's still watching over her is a really sweet touch.
@@younglove3362 he may have been talking about the part after where Goku jr wishes upon the 4 star dragon ball and goku appears and tells him he has to collect all 7 essentially making dragon ball start all over again or insinuating that it will always carry on.
@i_Blastoise And I just call them lazy animations. All they did was make a kid Goku and a Kid Vegeta and make it seem like this is them if they met while in their youth before Vegetarian came to Earth.
@@younglove3362yeah thats called circle of life. They look like them, because they ARE their grandsons. Nothing lazy about it, the problem is in your head.
For people who thinks its bulma Its not bulma but its bulma leigh (bulma's descendent) she's is vegeta jr's mother as said in the episode "Excuse me, you're vegeta jr's mother right? My son is going to fight your son."
This ending really put me to tears as a kid I really thought this was the end of dragon ball they gave Goku such a beautiful conclusion to his character and the show
When I first say this episode it made me cry real hard. I found it very emotional. I think it was because the show was over. Even after all these years it still has the same affect on me. Anyone else feel that way too?
its so sad. in goku jr and vegeta jr's time, nobody probably even remembers the z fighters or who goku had to fight to save the universe. "going blonde" means the entire saiyan heritage was lost to pan's generation. something to think about is how germany, japan italy were our enemies in ww2, now we share the same table with that against new perceived enemies, history repeats itself b/c it is often forgotten
@@OneKind-kj8tw @OneKind-kj8tw No he doesn't, that's his own unique design. Goku just wears an Orange Gi and in End of Z he wears a Blue Gi, while Goku Jr has a bandana or a green undershirt.
@@OneKind-kj8tw No it isn't, Goku Jr. wears multiple things differently to Goku, from the undershirt, to the shirt color, to the red bandana and so on. The only thing he shares with End of Z Goku is the same white belt but that's it.
@@maylabrown4584 you're obviously blind, he has on Goku whole blue outfit, white belt, the pink risk bands & yellow pants from GT..the only thing difference is, has a bandana & red shose..He is wearing Goku old clothes. He wearing Goku old GT clothes
only thing that bothers me here is all the s--t Bulma's & Goku's family been through for years why the hell wouldn't these too know each other I'd let it slide if there was a long time no see from pan here but nope
Not that unbelievable honestly. Keep in mind, in the beginning of Z, Goku hasn't contacted his friends in 5 years to the point that they didn't even know he had a son who was already 4-5 years old. Then in Android arc, Goku and Gohan wasn't seen any of their friends for 3 years training for the androids except Piccolo who was their training partner. Then after Buu, Goku hasn't seen any of them for 5 years again because he was constantly off training. Hell, from what I recall, none of them seemed to have even showed up for Goku's wedding. And now this time, Goku is gone for good and the world is finally able to enjoy a long era of relative peace, meaning the family, aside from Goten and Trunks who don't even hang as much as they did as kids, don't have much reason to hang anymore. Plus this is Goku's great great great great grandson's generation now. How many of friends and families of your dead grandparents are you still close to, let alone your ancestor's? Time flies and friends and families grow apart, especially when their center (Goku in this case) is gone. It's sad, but that's life.
It's not the Bulma we know but her descendent who is a workaholic like her great great grandfather. Dr. Brief. It makes sense. The Bulma we know was adventure prone. Here her descendent isn't. Also bluma initially wants to be a treasure hunter not a scientist and the head of capsule corp. It was goku fighting the red ribbon army that encouraged her to stay home more with her dad.
It's neither Bulma nor Bulla. Just a descendant of Bulma who so happened to share a strong resemblance with. Seems she's also named after Bulma as well but her last name is Leigh.
the song made it even more nostalgic... im litteraly tearing up remembering the good old days watching dragon ball. I'm a gown man now and Vegeta will always have that place in my heart!
I never understood how after everything goku and vegeta had been through, how their descendants don’t know who each other are. You’d think they’d all be major family friends
I loved gt. The nostalgia....def could have been a bit better. But for us as kids/teens to have this after DragonBall, DragonBall Z, then GT.....it ended the series in a great way( at that time. )
It's touching how realistic they went in this aftermath. As a kid I would think they went with a more charming ending where their families friendship has carried on over the years, instead they wanted to be honest and admit: you people probably won't be in touch forever. Though they implied they will become rivals and thus friends again. It's also really interesting that they don't acknowledge Saiyan anymore, they just are a particular humanoid kind within the humans. It's the same thing Toriyama did back in the days with Tien.
This always upset me. Pan probably waited her entire life to see Goku one final time and he just shows up long enough to make her question herself about whether he was even there or not. 😢
If yall wondering gt creators said goku is one with Sheron not dead but more so on the same plan as Kami in the watch tower scenario he can observe but is forbidden to interfere directly.
This is so sad. This is so very sad generation passes on after all those times of years now new generation is good to be an angel and seeing the good life of things when we were humans that’s how it would be but not going to hell is the place to be a good watcher because you don’t see a lot you it disrupts a lot and you see as being one is not a good thing being in the place of hellish places you want to be in the heavenly places where you’re always checking on your family.
Goku, not being there as Pan grew up or having anything to do with his great great grandchildren except to watch themat the world martial art tournament is so on character. Honestly he's probably hanging on King Kai's planet training instead
1. Is that Bulma sitting next to Pan still looking young as ever? I guess she kept wishing to be younger all those years. 2. Did things really devolve so much that Goku's and Vegeta's descendents didn't even know eachother? How did their families not stay in touch? 3. How were these boys raised in a way that they don't even know what Super Saiyan is? Their families failed them in educating them on their Saiyan heritage. What could have happened during all those years to cause all this?
1. it's bulma's descendant. 2. apparently so. the boys fighting are probably 3-4 generations AFTER pan. in a way, the z fighters achieved the greatest thing they could have collectively : peace for earth many generations after them. 3. goku jr. has his own little movie that shows how he gains super saiyan. it's not at all action-packed but i still don't want to spoil it. it's purely dramatic and it's called : dragon ball gt - a hero's legacy. also, goten was able to turn super saiyan without understanding how significant it is. there's really no compact answer as to why the families didn't keep in touch, i think they just wanted to go for this bittersweet ending where the families grow apart but are reunited by what their predecessors loved most : martial arts.
I similed when i saw both fight, but when they went super sayain and flyed thowards each other, my heart crumbled, flashbacks of the fights between goku and vegita ssj came back to me, it made me nostalgic, i ended with watery eyes and running nose and when goku apears i lost it, our legend came back one last time🥹 akira toriyama you really did make us happy with dragon ball, thank you for this anime, until next time sensi🙏
I like the idea of Saiyan genes slowly integrating into generations of humans so eventually humans basically just become the universe 6 Saiyans. Hell maybe that's what actually happened in universe 6 and why they have no tails. They all became hybrids much sooner than their universe 7 counterparts
