You may have noticed I did not post many videos last week. That was because I was on vacation in Florida! We love the beach and Panama City is so easy for us to get to from Colorado.
The water is crazy warm and our kids have an awesome time! I am back and We loved our beachfront townhouse but there were a few things they could have done o make it way better!

this is like the one we stayed at in Hawaii. It was great as far as location, but the layout was basic, but who's gonna stay inside while there anyhow!

You got lucky booking Panama City at the peak of the hurricane season. We've had an unusually quiet season this year. You noted some of the condos were parking on the ground floor and a walk up and others were ground level. Building codes have changed dramatically over the recent years. Those 2nd floor walkup condos allow for storm surge. You just can't build them at ground level near the beach anymore.

Right. When was the last time a surge was that high? I talked to a few people about the last one and it didn't seem that bad along the ocean.

My grandparents lived in Pensacola and I spent my entire childhood summers in that area. That was a LONG time ago and there just wasn't much built up out there. I'll never forget riding back to Pensacola with all that sand in my bathing suit. Uggg.

@@investfourmore True, you could get a decent return on investment over the long haul, but the major hurricanes that come thru every 20-30 years means that you have to be prepared to rebuild. There aren't many beachfront homes/condos that have escaped two big storms in a row. Next time you're down here, take a ride east of PCB to check out Mexico Beach, where they're still rebuilding from Hurricane Michael in 2018.

@@davidadams9849 Mexico Beach got hammered. That seems pretty rare to get hit head on like that without the winds dissipating! As you know much of the value of those beach houses is the land.

Glad you got in without any storms. I noticed you had the patio door open and with Floridian air quality being absolutely soupy, no wonder the moisture sensor tripped. Nice place and just a few fix up punch list points it could be a seriously solid rental.

Ahh, the Redneck Riviera! I hope you like raw oysters. They are in season now and there are many cool oyster bars in Panama City. Your fear of nudity only means you won’t be invited to a nudist resort.😊

Thanks for walk thru! Instead of holding phone vertically hold it horizontally when filming for youtube (end footage with black on either side (vertical good with instagram bad with youtube). see you in upland! teamcasey

I do hold it vertially for most of it. I actually have a camera for youtube but I had a few parts vertical fro youtube I also used here. Good to see you here!

Bathroom with patio doors was probably builder mistake. Could be it's an investment vrbo and owner may never have seen it. Nice tour.

The place is given dated and boring vibes. But love the concept. Needs to be staged and updated. The blinds and that mattress in the second bedroom is scary to me
