I couldn't begin to list the fond memories I have of St. Andrews SP! I grew up in Panama City in the '60's, and I've live within about 3 hours of there, in Alabama, since the mid-70's. I've seen big gators in Gator Lake, 15' hammerheads, 50" redfish, 7' eagle rays, even a whale shark, there! I've spent a ton of time fishing from the jetties, and I've probably caught a hundred different species of fish from them. A word of note to anyone fishing the jetties...they are absolutely full of raccoons, who will steal your bait, your lunch, or your fish literally from underneath you! They have a lot of experience at it and they're good at it, so be mindful of what you set down where, out there...they're pretty harmless, just don't try to pet them! LOL Stay Safe!

Raccoon lunch thieves 🤣🤣🤣 That's funny right there!! I rarely go to St. Andrews ..probably only been two or three times. (..& I'm only about an hour away) I probably went during the busy seasons because it was slam full of cars.. almost nowhere to park. It's a beautiful place.. Just go during winter, I guess🤣😉
