Keenan, thanks for bringing out the forgotten people and places of my motherland. My brothers and sisters were hit the hardest after the completion of the canal and their labor was no longer needed to remove millions of tons of earth and rock. The government has done little to help improve the situation. Yes, Panama has some of the oldest Spanish settlements outside of DR and Cuba; worth the trip for those whom love history. Rich in culture, Panama is a real melting pot, the only place in the world where you can see the sun rise in the Atlantic ocean and set in the Pacific...many blessings and safe travels my friend...

This Dude finds the best places!!! Portobello is probably the only place i have been where I feel no criminal behavior! Cristo Negro in the Catholic church there is un-real!!! The Spanish Forts and Canons is un-real and the Crystal Blue Waters there is amazing! I can still taste the Patacones with the Yellow hot sauce in Panama!

And you tell the truth about those ladies there, man so many mixed cultures and people make for one unique and wonderful experience. Panamanian ladies will ALWAYS be my favorite in the world.
