This song is actually about a woman deciding not to leave her mother-in-law after her husband died. Based on the book of Ruth. Naomi (the mother in law) told Ruth to go back where she came from and marry again but Ruth chose to stay. The lyrics are based from what she said to Naomi. It is a beautiful song not just for couples but for anyone with intimate relationships: family, best friends, etc. All encompassing talaga siya. One of the best examples of a profession of unconditional love.

Just sad knowing that today, May 22, 2023 the postal office was severely damaged by fire.

I came here because of tragic event that happened to Manila Central Post Office. 😔

I’m not crying because of the message of the song. I am crying as the Lawton Post Office brought back lots of childhood memories when Mom, who was a retired postal employee there for decades, would bring us to work on weekends as kids. And college days when I used to pick her up from there so we can go home together to Cavite. Missing mom so much; only been gone for 5 months since her passing.
