I’ve just bought one of these as an upgrade from a Phillips 3000. I was sold after the ratings it got on Which and your review. Phillips had a good reputation for electric shavers years ago but somewhere along the line standards slipped. A lot of it is because of the switch to manufacturing in Indonesia and the quality of the parts used are not as good. I owned the Phillips 3000 and it does shave but it takes me a good 10 minutes as I’ll have to go over it 3 times to achieve a close shave. With the 5 blades on the Arc 5 and the width of the head I’m hoping this time is reduced
I'm a wet shaver. But I tried my 1st shaver Braun Series 7 new model and it worked well. I've been having a breakout problem and everything you can imagine. But shavers are not so bad. I'm now looking for Panasonic Arc5 for my next shaver instead of a Braun Series 9. Thanks for the video.
Hi Shiraz Ahmed. Thanks for your appreciation! The Arc five definitely competes with the Braun Series 9. I believe that both models are very good but the Panasonic one is more down to earth when it comes to price. All the best.
@@edyblagocci I chose the Braun Series 7 as an entry-level shaver. I always wanted to have Panasonic Arc5. But as an entry-level, I didn't purchase a high-end shaver, and according to my various searches, I found Braun Series 7 is a good shaver for a start-up. But let me go through with that, then I go for Panasonic Arc5. 🙂🤝👍
Hi Dantes Thanks for getting in touch. The only difference between the two models is just the cleaning and charging station that comes with the LV97-S Cheers and good luck! (I’ll post a 7-day beard test at the end of the week)
No, you cannot use the shaver when is plugged in to a power outlet. Panasonic says it’s for safety reasons and that’s to avoid shaving under the shower with the shaver plugged in. Hope that helps. Cheers
Thanks for the awesome detailed video! Was looking forward to buying this shaver and after watching this video it's confirmed I will. You Earned my sub so cheers mate!
@@babybackribs7662 Hi there. The shaver feels really smooth on your skin, quite impressive really. It’s definitely worth buying. (I’m really impartial here and I have no gains from this)
Do you know when the LV95-S got release? Cuz I’m thinking of getting one for $150 with charging station than the $199 of LV97-S. What’s the difference between the 2?
