ang dami ko nang napanood na videong tuturial sa pagkabit ng single na water heater sa inyo ko lang lubos na intindihan ang tamang pagkabit ng item na ito...thank you so much ...keep up the very good work jed...
Hello. How hot the water gets is really subjective. For me, I set the temperature dial at about 1 o’clock and anything more than that is already too hot. For the other question, condos would usually have 30-Amps breaker for the water heater so it’s actually enough and will not trip under normal operating conditions.
Hi, I did not check the 'Made In..' information. However, I know we have a Panasonic manufacturing site at Santa Rosa, Laguna. I checked their website and the main appliances they manufacture are refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, and electric fans. It may be possible that they assemble these water heaters there as well. The parts would probably just come from other countries like Japan, China, Malaysia, Vietnam, etc.
Hello! It depends where you are since water heater models may differ in every country. In our case here in the Philippines, I got from a website called Shopee similar to Amazon, but it is also available in major hardware stores like Ace Hardware.
Kung wala pa, I’d suggest you get a licensed electrician para maginstall nun, though di ako sure kung magkano yung sa ganun.
Usually kasi kapag yung water heater provision is yung nasa ilalim ng sink, designed siya for multipoint. You can probably do it that way pero baka mabitin kayo sa init. Kung sa condo kayo nakatira, you can probably ask the admin/developer kung ano yung recommended na water heater dun sa provision.
Hi Jed, just asking if this model has a water flow switch, meaning mag switch off yong motor ng heater if you close water supply. Also regarding sa ground wire is it necessary nga naka baon cya sa lupa, or sufficient na yong naka lagay lang sa water pipe or other metal structure connected to the ground. Many thanks for a very informative vlog.
Hello Tino, yes there is a sensor that makes the heater work only if there's active water flow. In fact, may advice nga sakin before sa store when I was asking about this product that the heater may not turn on if there is very low water pressure, although I have not tested that kasi ok naman water pressure sa residence namin. For the ground naman, I will try not to go very technical about this. If you have no other choice and you are sure that the metal pipe or structure is actually and reliably connected to the ground (you can use a tester to measure resistance: dapat zero or close to zero and voltage between metal structure and one of the AC wires which should be about 110 volts, kalahati ng 220), then you may do so. Problem lang kasi minsan is kapag nagkocorrode yung metal structure over time, hindi na siya reliable for grounding kasi tataas yung resistance niya with respect to ground. Kaya yung standard is to use a copper wire. Hope this helps!
My shower heater is Panasonic model DH-3JP2 with Jet Pump n ELB, bought more than 10yrs ago ok pa, n still in stock sa ACE Hardware. The jet pump will not shut-off even close na water supply faucet. Pangit pakingan sound sa jet pump, so you'll be forced to switch it off. Wla na talaga cya water flow sensor switch???
@tinocrz817 yan siguro yung model na may malaking button na pinepress. Not really familiar with that model since hindi naman kelangan ng residence namin yung extra pump sa unit. I think may manual din sa Panasonic website about it, you may want to check that out too
@@cayetanojedhi Jed, will adding RCBO to my existing wiring connection will improve earth leakage detection event without proper unit grounding??? Tnx sa reply
Hello sir, just want to ask nakabili kasi ako ng ganitong 2nd hand, the thing is kesa magbayad pa ako ng magiinstall (magdidrill sa wall para lang makabit) gusto ko na lang gawin all by myself kasi may drill naman tatay ko, ano pong size ng screw at drill bits niyo po? Salamat po.
hello sir, question po. mali kasi ang nabili kong shower set bali for multipoint 2 valve but single point po nabili kong water heater etong same model ng sa inyo. ginawan lang paraan ng nag install. ask ko lang may times na matagal bago po uminit yung water heater, like a good 3 -5 mins na running un water saka lang po sya iinit. normal po ba yun? thanks po sa sagot
Hello sir, unfortunately you will probably need to upgrade your water heater to multipoint or downgrade your shower set to one that is compatible with the single point heater, whichever is more applicable sayo. Importante din sir to read and research on things to make sure compatible yung mga ikakabit. Iwasan mo rin yung mga workaround or ‘gagawan ng paraan’ kasi either lugi ka jan or minsan buhay mo pa nakasalalay jan pag nagfail yan. Hopefully makatulong ‘tong advice ko.
@@cayetanojed appreciate the respone sir, yun din actually snabi sakin sa wilcon. but mga karpintero ko did what they could do. but somehow i feel its off tlga. kasi matagal uminit yun water heater ko. much cheaper to buy a single shower set hehe un din naman tlga ang plan mali lang ako bili sa lazada hehe god bless po! thanks again for your advice
Make sure nakasaksak yung unit at may supply ng kuryente. Kung hindi parin gumagana kahit nakasaksak na, better reach out po sa pinagbilhan niyo ng unit and check the warranty coverage. Kung out of warranty na po, you can reach out to Panasonic, they can probably help you with locating a service center nearby
Hello. walang pump etong model DH-3PL1. You may check their website, too.
Hi, sorry sa late reply. Assuming naka-ON naman water heater at naka dial sa mainit na level yung temp adjustment knob, possible na mahina yung water pressure to trigger the heating element sa water heater. Pero kung malakas naman, might be good to contact your seller for warranty coverage.
Hello, I’m based in Metro Manila. Hope this helps 👍👍
