I bought this exact DVD/VCR combo this weekend at a yard sale. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It helped so much. Also I love the garage and shed flips channels.
Tx man, i recently got one from a friend, without manual and the online manual wasn't really a help. You explaining it while showin did the trick just perfect. Therefor a big tx. Greets from Belgium 🇧🇪
Wow! Just wow! I just did a practice run and it worked. I am sooo beyond thankful for this tutorial. I am ready to transfer ALL my videos onto DVDs. I do have a question...my videos are 3 hours long and my DVDs are only 2 hours long. Just wondering if anyone has had this as well. Or if there are 3 hour DVDs out there? I'll google it now but yeah was just wondering if anyone had done it before. Just about to record one to the end so I'll see how I go. 🤞
I have the same unit and it is working. I want to connect it to my laptop via the HDMI out. Have you ever tried this? *Thanks for the video, it's very helpful
Very helpful... unfortunately, I cannot find the menu for finalization as you showed. (I do not have the remote, so it is programmed through another that does not have a function button.) Is there anything I can do about that besides buy a Panasonic remote?
Thank you!!! just got this VCR DVD player from my grandparents along with tapes and a cam recorder to transfer to DVD's!! Im so happy you have uploaded this video.
Is there ANY video out there that shows how to connect this DVD recorder to a cable box with TV (or even just to the TV) to record anything in the first place??? That's the most important thing
Also another question, I've been reading bad test comments about this VHS/DVD (the quality of the VHS tapes gets very bad after been playing in the recorder) what is your experience?
Many years ago I recorded from 8mm camcorder to DVD using this Panasonic and it was all connected to TV, so I could view and control what I wanted on my DVD. I want to do it again, but I forgot how I did it. I am totally an amateur when comes to electronic, many time I do things just by trying & being stubborn. If there is anyone there who knows how to connect 8mm camcorder to this Panasonic and TV I would greatly appreciated.
hi with regards to the final disc will it play in a pc or Mac or just a dvd machine also if you used conponrny cables over the av cables does it improve the quality on the dvd thank you or your time and thank you for this video
Component Out means it has RGB(Red Green Blue) connectors for Video instead of the yellow connector. It allows for better transmition of video as each primary color has it's own path;
Great video everything proven vhs tapes don't stop playing at all like a DVDs or blue ray disc movies does everything proven people like myself are fixing broken vhs tapes with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's
