The film showcases 6 decades in the life and works of Miss Panchali Bardhan. As a performing artist she began her career with the Little Ballet Troupe, Bombay. Her first works were in Shanti Bardhan's "Puppet Ramayana" and "Panchatantra" considered landmarks in the Indian Ballet movement.
Her career took her across the country and almost all over the world. Some 25 countries in a career spanning 6 decades. She represented India in the Mexico Olympics, Edinborough Festival and the International Ramayan Festival.
She later went on to found Kala Samooh, Gwalior with her fellow artists and performed with the group till ill health incapacitated her.
The film was made as a part of the Hungry Stones Kala Mahotsav, (Feb'23) initiated to honour her memory
