I just ordered a Panda on Amazon Prime after this review. Not only was the review thoroughly informative such as mentioning why not abuse the breaking system, but it was also enjoyable with the "awkward silience while waiting..." The video was 9:49 minutes long giving me a chance to have a true experience of the machine being used. Thanks.

Thanks for posting this. I got tired of the laundromats' gas dryers ruining my clothes so I bought a compact electric dryer. Takes twice as long but because it does not get as hot I noticed my clothes came out softer, and the colors were brighter. But now I will buy one of these spin dryers to run the clothes thru first. Them the jeans amd towels can go in the other dryer for just a few minutes
@GreatGreebo

This spin dryer will REALLY help you in the long run.Your clothes will last MUCH longer using this spin dryer because you aren’t destroying them with high heat and you can hang them up to dry and just fluff in electric dryer if need be. Either way, you’re going to be very happy. AND no more nasty laundromat dryers!

@@GreatGreebo FYI lease and rental co tracts forbidding washers/ dryers for heavy normal sized appliances. These portables are NOT the regular size and weight that create problems. The fully automatic Farberware might be of interest to you. That is what we decided on. Look at the review vids to see what fits :)

Thank you for the video, it seems like they would dry even quicker then on a rack in the Sun, like an hour or so or less. Glad you mentioned about how your machine spins them almost dry feeling before you put them into the Panda and still gets that water out that does seem to be there. For me that is what I needed to finally see from someone so I can decide. I was going to buy a portable electric dryer, but they keep raising the prices higher and selling out. They were around $240 and now up to about $400 for those models. If I go this route, I now have to decide between Ninja and this Panda, the Ninja seems to have really great reviews on quiet, balance and it has a 3 year warranty as well. Any added info you think I could use is welcome, thank you again. Love Chris
@GreatGreebo
@GreatGreebo 4 года назад
Christopher Schiffermiller the Panda is remarkably quiet yet very light weight too....I chose the panda because it was quite a bit larger in its capacity inside (it can hold the entire load versus having to split it up), it is much more stylish AND a better construction (in my opinion). It has NOT gone up in price at all. Putting the clothes on a rack in the sun after using this spin dryer means nearly instantaneous drying!! And NO STIFFNESS to the clothes..they dry very soft. You will be just fine with the spin dryer and it definitely is much less expensive that the current portable dryer prices! Here is a link AND it’s also FREE shipping. amzn.to/3bMrSAJ

@@GreatGreebo Thank you for the quick reply and after some research I am torn between the Panda and the Ninja, though the Panda seems to have many more reviews and better ones. I do like the Ninja for the warranty and the design of the balancer, but their FB page shows many negative reviews and about customer service. So Im going to wait a few or a week and decide on one or see if Walmart gets back in either Magic Chef portable electric dryers; as the price went back down to under $200 for both models. Thanks again for your advice and demo.

@@GreatGreebo Hi. Question for you, does Panda have a website, as I can not find one and would like to be sure I could contact them with ease if I buy from them and need assistance. Do you have one from their materials that came with yours or a customer service number that is legit? I called the 888 number for the Ninja from their site to get a feel of what they may be like and it doesnt even use a company name or anything and the mailbox was full; like calling a residential house with no real voice as the recording, makes me concerned about them even more. Like to be sure I could easily contact either of them if need be. Thanks again! Edit: I did find this from California, where I live, but site seems old and no reviews for any of the dryers. They say they are an import for Panda Products. www.ezbyonline.com/product/16 In case you want to view it or maybe you have. laundry-alternative.com/products/ninja-3200-rpm-portable-centrifugal-spin-dryer-with-high-tech-suspension-system?variant=18275822010419

Wow. That's pretty quiet. I prefer to air dry my clothes though. Clothes dryers are too heavy on power.
@GreatGreebo
@GreatGreebo Год назад
I air dry my clothes too….this is a spin dryer…it spins at 100 mph and gets out any extra water. The motor is TINY and would fit in the palm of your hand..,it on,y runs for a little bit and the rest is centrifugal force. It costs less than a 1/4 of a penny to run and I then hang the clothe to dry in 10% of the time it would take to regular air dry them (without spinning) In summer, jeans can be dry in 30 mins to an hour and tshirts in as little as 15 minutes….It also gets ALL the extra soap residue out etc…so the clothes are much softer and not stiff as boards❤️❤️ Regular electric dryers are ridiculously expensive to run, I completely agree!!!

CAn you just put your heavier pieces in for another spin cycle to get out even more water ?
@GreatGreebo
@GreatGreebo 3 года назад
You can if you want but Ive honestly never needed to (and any extra water you get out is negligible and not worth the effort)..it spins at over 100 mph (3200 rpm) so after the couple minutes of run time all the extra water than can be extracted, has been extracted regardless of the items weight. These things are wicked efficient! You will be very pleased! You can air dry stuff fairly easy after using this.

I have new model 27 lbs. Kuppet washer & spin drier. Spin drier has hole to attach water hose already. I just was just trying to help out your models, since I read a blog about simply drilling hole on top, placing funnel, & hose until runs clear. Same concept as mine. Mine spins 3 minutes w/ hose, & then last 2 minutes to dry.

@@GreatGreebo I'm trying to think about the one you have. I'd drill a hole in the top to funnel water in to rinse as it spins. My kuppet does. Kuppet 26 is 17 washer & only 9 spinner. So if yours says, 22 that should be big. There's also a 12 lbs stainless steal portable washer that spins & rinses in the same unit, but I don't know if big enough. Last option cost most like $300, & is 3' cubic ft. I guess the biggest

@GreatGreebo
@GreatGreebo 3 года назад
@@candy5742 I hang mine up in my apartment: in the winter towels can takes up to 12 hours ( usually less) and in the summer I can just hang them overnight and they’re dry (sheets are always fast to dry regardless of the season)..with all the extra soap and water spun out they don’t get hard. I can’t stand that feeling either so trust me when I say they are okay. The sheets are like they came out of the dryer, towels just fine too, maybe a tiny, little bit more stiff than a dryer towel but not enough for anyone but the person who does the laundry to notice.

Bryan Barajas 100% ! Clothes last so much longer when you take care of the fabric and don’t destroy it with high, high heat after every time you wash it!
@bryanbarajasBB
@bryanbarajasBB 4 года назад
Great Greebo There must be a simple way to get clothes to dry a bit faster without burning the house down or hang drying them inside or out. Maybe a small dryer, but with just enough heat to dry what you need and the rest to dry on its own. But cost effectiveness shall be the issue with that because you’ll have three items, 1) A portable washer, 2) Panama dryer spinner, 3) An electric dryer.
@GreatGreebo
@GreatGreebo 4 года назад
Bryan Barajas I would be fine with the washer and the spin dryer if I was seriously low on space...the spin dryer takes up almost no room, and if somebody got the smaller washer, the two wouldn’t take up much room. Even the electric dryer is pretty small...my apartment is only 500 SF and all three fit here just fine BUT, as I said...with the washer and spin dryer, you can get laundry done pretty easily
@bryanbarajasBB
@bryanbarajasBB 4 года назад
@@GreatGreebo Definitely, but for me it does come down to timing, and I suppose anything helps, but I can see how the fabric question protection comes to play.
